15:00 SUBSTITUTION - Tottenham 0-3 Liverpool
A blow for Spurs and for England as Danny Rose picks up an injury. He trudges off straight down the tunnel.
14:46 GOAL - Tottenham 0-3 Liverpool - Alberto Moreno (60 mins)

Game, set, and the match! A superb solo goal from Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno, his first in English football!
Spurs sub Andros Townsend's first touch is to give the ball away to Moreno on the halfway line, he gets his head down and sprints forwards down the left. He goes on, and on, before bursting into the area. Still there doesn't look to be too much danger as the angle is tight, but he blasts a wonderful low finish across Hugo Lloris and into the far corner.
SUBSTITUTIONs - Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool
Andros Townsend and Mousa Dembele for Nabil Bentaleb and Christian Eriksen, and moments after it Liverpool replace Mario Balotelli and Joe Allen with summer signings Emre Can and Lazar Markovic.
14:35 GOAL - Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool - Steven Gerrard (Pen) 49 mins
Steven Gerrard was prolific from the spot last season and doubles Liverpool's lead today, rolling confidently home into the corner. Great start to the second half for the visitors.
14:34 Penalty to Liverpool - Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool
Soft, but that is a penalty! Eric Dier pulls back Joe Allen, needlessly, and that's a spot-kick.
HALF TIME Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool
14:05 YELLOW CARD - Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool
Javier Manquillo (Liverpool) is shown the yellow card.
13:55 YELLOW CARD - Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool
Eric Dier does not mess about! A 40-yard chase for the ball ends with the goalscoring defender flying into a sliding tackle, full force, leaving Mario Balotelli writhing around in pain. Dier took the ball as clean as you like, and referee Phil Dowd takes no action.Moments later Joe Allen is the first man in the book for hanging on to Erik Lamela.
13:37 GOAL - Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool - Raheem Sterling (8 mins)
Forget Balotelli, forget Sturridge - it's Raheem Sterling who puts Liverpool into another early lead. Cracking move too as Sturridge sends Jordan Henderson into the penalty area, the former Sunderland man looks up and plays a really clever pass square across the box and into Sterling's path. It's a tight angle, but the England man calmly slots into the corner. Lovely stuff...

Team should remain the same really:
Lloris
Dier Kaboul Vertonghen Rose
Capoue Bentaleb
Lamela Eriksen Chadli
Adebayor
I have a feeling Fazio MIGHT play though considering Kaboul got 90 mins tonight. Really, really hope we win this. It would be absolutely fantastic. Believe. COYS!

One of those games where my head is saying it'll be tight, and we probably won't get 3 points, but my heart really really really wants us to smash them.

The delusion of some Pool fans has been really pissing me off recently, and they're getting worse. They need a trumping to get them back to reality, and I really hope it's us that gives it to them.

Hope Kaboul starts, maybe he started tonight to continue getting his sharpness back?

Would be really, really surprised if Kaboul starts on Sunday. Playing two 90 min games in four days is a very big ask for anyone let alone someone with Kaboul's fitness issues. Liverpool's attacking line is very quick and we need our defence to be 100% on Sunday, playing a defender who is suffering from even a little match fatigue would be a bad move. Im 90% sure Fazio starts Sunday, which i must say i find a little surprising. Poch must have a lot of faith that Fazio can fit into the system with ease. Apart from that i'm sure we will go with the same line-up as last weekend.

Keep the same team from QPR. Would take a draw to be honest. Think whichever team scores first wins this though and will be ploughing in to 5+ goals

Same team I'd expect.

Really interested to see who makes the bench for this although if Soldado is out maybe it won't be quite so revealing.

Assuming its the same team...who makes the bench? Will be interesting from the point of view of outs as well given its dead line day on Monday.

Will AT make the bench?

Same starting lineup as against QPR for me, except I'd take Bentaleb out in favour of Paulinho, and Rose out for Davies.

Yes, really.

Can't see Fazio starting in a game of this importance. Same as last week for me although Sandro looked good tonight and I'd love to see him destroying that pussy Liverpool midfield. That would mean dropping Bentaleb for me.

If Fazio makes his debut against Liverpool then he's going to have a bit of a baptism of fire. It'll be interesting if Rodgers does the same with Balotelli. Fazio vs Balotelli will be a fun one to watch!

First big test. I'm hoping they start with Gerrard at the DM position and we can press the living hell out of him. their defensive problems still do not look to be solved.

It is early days for Poch and his system which does give me pause though.
