Yep. We as fans know how good the team are i don't need henry to tell me we played well.
It is nice to hear nice things being said about the club but i don't need gratification. 3 points is enough.

Whilst you're right, it's always particularly nice to hear pundits such as Keown and Henry acknowledge how good we are and that we are now much better than their former club. It just get the endorphins racing! :)

I personally find Henry to be a decent pundit, yeah he's Arsenal but not to the detriment of commending Spurs when it's deserved. Same with Keown for example. Most of the Sky Sports pundits at the games themselves are measured in their praise/criticism, if Spurs had lost 4-1 to Liverpool we would be getting buckets of criticism, it's nothing personal against Spurs that Liverpool get the brunt of the coverage.

It's the cretins on Talksport and Soccer Saturday that tend to have the ulterior motives but nobody really cares what they have to say surely. Charlie Nicolas? Jason Cundy? Do me a favour.

Jason Cundy is always complimentary about us, and usually fights our corner (when its not Chelsea). The asshole who seem to despise us and always trying to put us down is Andy Goldstein, his partner on Sports Bar

I wish MOTD would just have a panel of Keown and JJ every week (with occasional Wright thrown in for "bantz") as the pair of them seem keen to actually analyse what they've just seen rather than just talk in clich├ęs.

re watched some of the game and you have to question where Liverpool are heading they are so bad defensibly I think there midfield was pretty shocking at defending as well, there was so much space, we looked so well drilled and everyone new to a man there roles.

Didn't Klopp say last year you would struggle to find 5 better defenders than the ones he has at Liverpool? I can think of 7 at spurs

I was at the game on Sunday then came home to watch the match on Sky 'as live'. Finally I watched MOTD recording Sunday night and again last night. Yeah, bit of a wankfest ! In my opinion Henry and Keown are two of the best, most intelligent pundits in the media. They praise Spurs and criticise Arsenal when merited. In fact, even Ian Wright does the same, through gritted teeth and with his cheeky-chappy grin. He's so pro-England that our development of England internationals is another reason for him to like us. The Beeb even takes the piss out of itself for having so many Gooner talking heads. Jenas is helping redress the balance.

I don't mind whichever club(s) pundits used to play for as long as they're fair and they have something to say. But the Liverpool mafia is the worst. From bland Michael Owen on BT, lugubrious Lawro on BBC and Souness on Sky, they're either biased, blinkered or simply past their sell by date. For me, Hansen was good and knew when to retire. And Gary Neville sets the benchmark. He's interesting, balanced and can even be witty. In fact, everything he wasn't as a player.

Thought both the gents on MOTD2 were professional (Wright and I forget the other).

But agree Henry is just a good analyst as is our very own Jenas
