Does anyone know if Sky are going to carry on and broadcast the festivities after the match? I'm doing a security shift and watching on my phone but would hate to miss out 'live' if you know what I mean.

COYS!
Sky until 8pm but on Facebook live too from club

Why did I click on that?

I hope you're right, but the way this squad downed tools last season once the title was beyond them doesn't give me a lot of confidence.
I genuinely don't think they "downed tools", I just think they were knackered physically and mentally - the latter being far more important. I don't see the same happening this year.

So, we had Alan Smith co-commentating on last night's Arsenal game, Jamie Carragher is now doing the Liverpool match. I wonder where Gary Neville is today?

Let's be fair, we were bloody awful when he left and Newcastle had been playing in the CL under Sir Bobby.

They were not in the CL when he joined and after he joined them Newcastle never finished above us.

For a player who came through the academy and played over 250 games for us for him to then say "it wasn't difficult to leave Tottenham for Newcastle" well sorry he can fuck off.

I'm not disagreeing that Newcastle went downhill fast through terrible managerial appointments, and we started our slow road back under Levy, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

In the previous few seasons when he left for Newcastle, they'd been a better performing club, so I understand to some extent his decision.

And regardless, today is a day of celebration, and a little forgiveness. He always gave his all in the shirt when I saw him play, in some bloody awful sides, so he can come and say goodbye.

Would love to have got a ticket for this one. Should be a special occassion all round. I hope the fans sing some legend chants to roll back the years. Would be great to see how many we could do.
