Why the fuck did we even buy Crouch? Pav, Defoe and Keane at the time and he's done fuck all.

Fuck punting the ball up to him all the time, going to be the same with Carroll. Bring in Suarez, lets play the Tottenham way.

Very impressed with the team performance and our defence looked solid. My one gripe is Harry playing Crouch as a sole striker when he simply is not up to the job. He won next to nothing and Vidic had him completely in his pocket throughout the match. Obviously we are making progress, as a year or so back we would have been delighted with a point against Manure, but this was a match we could and should have won.

Exactly, how the fuck we didn't wallop them 5-0 i will never know.

And Everton are in such a false position its untrue.

How the hell we had 60% possession when all we did was launch it to crouch, somethings wrong there.

Look up the word perspective. They are unbeaten in the league. Unbeaten.

He was bought becuase Harry like him. He had him at Southampton and Pompey, who we all know are regular Champion League challengers.

Crouch was awful mate. It's pure frustrating watching him. 1 league goal this season? And 9 in 58 total league games? Not good enough.

I really try hard not to dislike players when they are picked for us, and after his winner against City last season, and his goals in the Champions League (that hat-trick against Young Boys was huge...), I thought I'd have enough reasons to show on-going faith in the big guy. But sadly he is a pretty piss-poor finisher by all accounts, and has probably just proved to Levy that he needs to splash the cash.

You sound like an Arsenal fan

I'm pretty sure BorisTM is an Arsenal fan. He's certainly not a Spurs fan.

It didn't sound like sarcasm. At all. Especially considering the kind of people we get on here sometimes.

Harry and his love childs.

His only major criticism.

He should have come off tonight for Defoe with more than 15 mins to go. We should have brought Pav on as well.

We made one sub, defoe for Palacios.

Why would Arry play Crouch against two of the best center backs in the league when he is so weak in the air and they so strong? Because he is clueless. What was the point of letting Defoe on for Palacios when we kept hoofing the ball towards Crouch he kept not winning it? There was not. Arry just hoped that one of those long balls might bounce off and Defoe might be around to poke it in. That is not how attacking football should be played. Attacking football should be played with creativity, innovation, flavor, etc. I saw nothing of this today in our game, just nonstop crosses and long balls - pathetic. And it has been like it for a while now. We have these excellent players and all we do is play this boring shit.

I watched Everton earlier and their passing and movement is so much better than ours, they outplayed the Losers on their own turf, and this with them not having any starts in their team.

 Now there speaks a man who knows how fooball should be played, we have some wonderfully talented players but our style of play sucks. We still play the old english up and at em style and its just old and outdated. We need to sell Crouch and buy Suarez and put the ball on the deck and play. The sad things is most clubs would love to play good football but don't have the players. However we actually have the players but don't use their talents enough sad lets just watch the gooners do it for us.

Agreed. I don't see the fascination of bringing in a big "battering ram" type striker, it just makes us predictable. I'd be happy with Suarez now, would be delighted with Rossi.

Give it a rest. For anyone under the age of around 30 this is the most exciting time to be a Spurs fan. We have had 20 odd years where we have been mostly mediocre, sometimes a little better and sometimes a little worse. This is the first time in years that we can really say that we can mix it with the best teams in England. We are a very good team that is just a little short of being great. If you really think we are boring then i'd love to watch some of these teams that are so exciting.

What? Everton you say? I'll stick thanks.

To be honest I was trying to quote BorisTM. Apologies!

What he posted was total nonsense to be fair lol. Suggesting Everton play better passing and moving than we do .

Now even im not sure if Dwallace is being sarcastic or just as daft as boris

i think he must have been smoking crack, as we clearly played Manure off the park and were excellent going forward. Their defence was impeccable.

BorisTM speaks bollox as we played brilliant football. Was never going to be a game for alot of chances. The defences came out on top and midfield was always going to win the match. Needless to say, most of the football was played in the middle of the park. If we had half a decent striker though, we would have beaten them.
