Whilst I appreciate that Mason did have a positive impact when he came on, he did come on against a tiring Championship reserve team...
Let's judge his ability when he's getting PL game time.

I hope we get the opportunity to do so. Because we have already seen what the alternatives offer.

I hope we see it with more of the kids if the current wasters we have don't pull their finger out and bench them but I can imagine lil' Danny doing his nut over dwindling assests on big wages being sat on the bench

If ever there was a true winner it was Roy Keane - and he complained famously about the atmosphere inside Old Trafford.

They call the fans a 'twelfth man' because we can make a positive contribution, not so we can sit there carping like Simon Cowell.
But fans cheering you creates the extra buzz... Being paid over £30k a week means you deal with the crap

But the point is that when the fans are giving players 'crap' they are not cheering the players. More cheering/singing and less crap is better for the team. Obviously the players should be able to deal with any crap that comes along. But the less of the crap there is, the better the players will play.

Haha ok mate. Your so insignificant I've never seen you on here before. Share your opinion if you have one. Oh wait....
I don't know how you missed my 5 previous posts, that hurts.
My opinion is that a 19 year old playing in arguably the toughest position on the pitch deserves some slack for a few misplaced passes. I do think he'd benefit from a loan move though.
I'm excited to see what poch can do with the likes of mason too, with a new stadium on the way we need our academy players to be a success as money will be tight. I hope our fans show some patience with these players, but I don't expect them to.

Well we must both call it wrong constantly then because I've been banging on about sending him on loan since the start of the season ! He isn't ready to get in our midfield and get us to where we want to be, we are not good enough to carry anyone at the moment....

totally agree, but how do you stop the fans from giving crap.... by performing. You get crap by not performing. Not perfoming comes first in the chain of events, and fans dont do it after just one or two bad performances. Fans do accept an off-day performance.

Watched the first half and the only player I am interested in is Stambouli. Man breaks up plays and has a decent pass on him. Should just be sitting back and covering play rather than going forward.
I am not having a go at you but it frustrates me that Stambouli who did sweet fuck all to make the game exciting or try to get a goal gets a plus and Naughton who did the same is the fecking second most voted for MOTM!?

I thought Stambouli was quite lively first half. Seemed the only one who wanted to put a foot in and break up their play. Some of his challenges were barn stormers!
