15:08 SUBSTITUTION - Tottenham 4-0 QPR
Roberto Soldado replaces Emmanuel Adebayor.
14:57 SUBSTITUTION - Tottenham 4-0 QPR
There'll be no match-ball for two-goal hero Nacer Chadli, who is replaced by Harry Kane for the final 20 or so minutes. For QPR, Alejandro Faurlin replaces Leroy Fer.
14:52 GOAL - Tottenham 4-0 QPR - Emmanuel Adebayor (65 mins)
Poor Harry Redknapp looks like he's lost a pound and found a penny as he sits slumped in his seat - the best seat in the house to view Danny Rose driving down the left and picking out Emmanuel Adebayor for a simple side-footed finish. Tottenham on easy street.
14:48 SUBSTITUTION- Tottenham 3-0 QPR
Tottenham bring on Mousa Dembele for Nabil Bentaleb. Straight swap in the middle of the park.
HALF-TIME - Tottenham 3-0 QPR
14:06 GOAL - Tottenham 3-0 QPR - Nacer Chadli (37 mins)
This is turning into a rout, and much of the credit has to go to Erik Lamela. The little Argentine is absolutely running the show this afternoon, gliding - this boy doesn't just run - towards the left-hand side of the penalty area before wrapping his foot around the ball and dinking a wonderful ball straight onto the head of the unmarked Nacer Chadli who directs the ball home from six yards out. Majestic.
14:00 GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 QPR - Eric Dier (30 mins)
Eric Dier scores for the second successive match as he evades his marker - QPR new boy Leroy Fer - and heads home Erik Lamela's corner at the near post. Cue a flood of people transferring this goalscoring defender into their Fantasy Football teams.
13:41 GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 QPR - Nacer Chadli (12 mins)
It's been coming. Moments after Emmanuel Adebyaor heads over the bar, Tottenham find themselves in front - Loic Remy being bundled off the ball deep into his own half and paying the full price as Spurs sweep forward.
Adebayor is again at the heart of the move down the right and his cross to the back stick is expertly chested down by Nacer Chadli and rifled past Robert Green from six yards out. You don't save them.

1.30pm game on Sky tomorrow is Stoke v Hull. Surely this would be a better game with a few good connections as well as being a London derby?! The Harry factor alone should've been enough for it to be a Sky game.

QPR will park it tomorrow. Its probably going to be frustrating to watch us constantly hit on the counter attack anyway.

Finally a chance for Joey Barton to show he could really "destroy the midfielders" he said we wasted money on..... Looking forward to the game.

They are playing 352 at the moment and don't have much pace and quality except for Remy

Excited for this but can see it being a frustrating game. Hope the fans support and don't start moaning after 30 mins!

Remy might have some extra motivation if he does in fact want to move to us.

Caulker will definitely score against us too!

Ah the smell of piss and sweat, the humming buzz of the crowd, the energy and rawness and anxiety in the air....another season starts in the earnest at the lane...so good to be amongst the common people again

Yep.. I've backed him first goal scorer just in case the worst start should happen. Can't wait to get down the lane today! COYS

I hope we get at them early with a high tempo to really test how well they know the system they have adopted. I still think English football has problems adapting to 3 at the back.

If we start slowly we will have problems.

I never normally bet on Spurs, but tonight I've backed us to win as part of a multi and Eriksen to score...I've just got a good feeling about this one. The bets are a laugh, but I'd really love us to put in a great performance at the Lane and set the tone for a series of good home performances this year. I really hope the crowd is patient and in full force.

Am I am optimistic! You bet!

I mentioned this in another thread, but I think their 3-5-2 will become a 5-3-2 with their wingbacks getting pushed back and back. That means there will be very little space to work through, so I think today's result is really dependant on Eriksen's performance.

Also I'd go with Capoue and Bentaleb as the CM 2. More Defensive minded then Dembele or Paulinho to break up counters and Nabil can move the ball forward quicker then Sandro.
