Me and I reckon at least 2,000 others missed the entire first half due to the complete cluster fuck with ticket collections. A programme was the least of our worries. Absolute shambles.

Really? Was there a big queue then? I’m one of the lucky ones as I arrived early and collected at around 4pm.

yes, can't quite work this out or the low crowd for Dortmund. Clearly there were , probably, a thousand or so Madrid tickets not taken but I would have thought it would still have broken our record

There were thousands of Spurs fans effectively locked out last night. Something went very badly wrong with the Wembley system. I queued for over an hour to pick up my ticket and only got to see the second half. There were thousands still waiting when I got in. Tempers were understandably stressed, not helped by the stewards seemingly not knowing where to send people or being able offer any kind of explanation as to what was going on.

I was so pleased to hear that Trippier had got the nod. I hope his performance will stop the somewhat lazy criticism he seems to attract when things don't go to plan. I thought he was Man of the Match, although I don't know who officially got it. I like Aurier too but think Trips has just about done enough to be considered first choice at the moment.

That's terrrible, especially for such a memorable match

You ain't kidding. The guy next to me - a season ticket holder - was punching the ticket office window as they simply wouldn't let him in. No stewards, no police and people behind him in the queue were getting frustrated. It could have got really nasty. Half the windows being closed really didn't help.

TROLL
Daniel Levy sends a text to Real Madrid president after every Champions League win
Daniel Levy proves he's the master of trolling with the text he sends to Florentino Perez after Real Madrid win the Champions League

wonder how the text went after last night!

It was disgraceful last night my card didn't work at the turnstile just told to try another one did so still failed so asked a steward if I could be let in via disabled door as my son was already in the ground with email and I'd but he just said no go to ticket office which was other side of the ground took me another hour to get the front and still a queue longer than when I got on the end.
Think I must have been near you cos a guy near me went ballistic after travelling from Carlisle to see the game 160 quid and hotel down the drain. two lads from Denmark couldn't get in either.
Technology is great when it works but it took me two hours to get in and I have written to the club to get this sorted.
1 It needs more than one ticket office
2 They need to fix the problem with loading the cards
3 Need to highlight more the need to have I'D on you when going to a match

It is unlikely I will go to another midweek game it's just too much hassle. I paid a pound a minute for my second half and what should have been a memorable night turned into one for the wrong reasons.

That's disgraceful. It must have been so exasperating. I hope they offer you compensation as well sorting the general issue out.

We have raised the bar to a very high by beating Madrid, now we must maintain that standard, it would be disappointing to get knocked out in the next round by a much lesser team. Really there is no reason why we can't go on and win the whole damn thing.

Ok so it's official when we get drawn against the reigning European champions we smash them 3-1, can't argue with the facts.
p.s. especially their Brazilian full backs.

Realised I couldn’t record it ahead of time before I went as Sky only goes a week ahead. Fooking gutted.
Download Sky Go, sign in to your account, and you can send record requests from anywhere in the world. It's been a lifesaver for me for many years.

Write to Daniel Levy himself and don't give up. This has happened to me before. It took three letters to get a full refund and free tickets to another match. Just be polite and keep writing!

Why, because you thought it would be a cakewalk?

Another Captain Hindsight joins SC.

Not at all.

After the draw, people seemed to be polarised into the two camps of "what a shit draw, we're so unlucky, we're going to get spanked" and "what a great draw, we get to test ourselves against the best teams in Europe" (with a few sitting on the fence).

I was firmly in the latter camp. Without denying how tough it was going to be, I saw no reason why we couldn't compete and get out of the group.

Obviously it was a bit of a cheap shot though - I'm just fed up with the doom merchants who write us off before a ball has been kicked, slate players, etc., with very little to back it up.
