One of my favorite parts about tonight was that Poch didn't celebrate the win. Had he done so it would have made us look small time.

Ha ha very good point. I'd have been embarrassed if he did a Conte now that you mention it.

Although i did think he'd like to work for them someday so that's not a nice thought.

was a privilige to be there...must have watched the highlights 10 times since Wednesday. This wasn't just hanging on for a heroic draw......we mashed them and they were lucky get away with a just 3-1 defeat.

After all the crap we've watched over the year.....how far we have come!

After 84/85 I despaired of ever mounting a credible title challenge again. Now seriously challenged 2 seasons on the trot.

Never imagined we'd be able to play like that and beat a team like Real Madrid, the way we did. Unlike the Inter game which was inspired by Bale and Rafa, this was different. There was no one or two standout player. This was the whole team plus the subs.

so proud!!

I know the media is pushing the notion of Harry Kane to Real, but the player who would fit the Galactico model is Dele. Won't be long before he is being linked to Madrid.

Alli at 21, would be absolutely crazy to leave Pochettino now. He Still needs the best coaching to fulfill his potential. Without that i could see him going off the rails at the moment.

I still haven’t seen any highlights apart from gifs of casimero. Has anyone got a link?

On TS this afternoon some tube (apologies I'm not sure who) on H&J said 'After Wednesdays great performance, this weekend will be a good chance for Spurs to prove, as has been mentioned in the media, that they're not just a good starting 11 but have good squad players that can come in and do a job and put that suggestion to bed as Lloris and Toby are out.'

Hawksbee pointed out that we WERE MISSING several starting 11 on Wednesday night and A.Jacobs just dismissed it outright with 'No, Spurs have a very strong squad.' (I like to think he was doing a wanker sign with his hand in this idiots direction. The benefit of radio lol).
Some people really should engage brain before mouth. This particular prick was a guest btw not some muppet ringing up.
Anyone name and shame?

Just got back from game - and suddenly Wembley doesnt seem quite so bad even journey home and wembley way was better.
COYS
I couldn't go to game but went to Liverpool match and I thought everyone came of stadium really relaxed. Walking seemed much slower than normal like everyone was just so happy they didn't give a fk about rushing home. I didnt.
Sounds like you got same impression Wednesday.

I couldn't believe how painless it was getting home, like you said probably because people were happier and no one was rushing. They did a decent job of getting 85k out of the ground efficiently. That bit under the bridge with the flashing multi-coloured lights just before Wembley Park station was awesome, loads of songs got going. Feel bad for those that didn't get in or got in late though, not the first time that's happened. I hope shit like that doesn't happen too often at our new stadium.

I’ve watched the match several times over, the third goal is a goal of pure beauty...and the noise when it hit the net. Must have been unreal to have been there.

We sung it in France and sung it in Spain
We sung it the sun and we sung it in the rain
They tried to stop us and look what it did
The thing we love most is beating Madrid
Being a yid and beating Madrid
