Not much talk on ndombele which makes me think he didnt play well and people are too scared to say it. Honest opinions welcome. Does he look fit? Forward passes? Was he more advanced of Winks?

Thanks

Any time he gets the ball you can tell he's a super footballer, but his fitness is an issue in these early days and he has some work to do. By 25 mins he was gassed. Some are saying that it's just his running style, but no. You could tell he's struggling to make high intensity run after run after run and towards the end of the half was barely getting into a trot and our midfield started getting very open down his side as he chased shadows.

The raw ingredients are there, but he's got some work to do to catch up with the rest of the squad.

Hes looked very good in all the pre season games, I don't think a loan would suit him, a regular on the bench, learning from Jan and Toby, could be 2 inches taller, got a touch of Paul Parker about him..

If he stays, I fear he will be treated like KWP.

Lamela in the 1st half carried the game and was superb. Really hope he can stay fit. If he does it would be all the better for us going forward, no pun intended.

We were in control throughout the game, but i still feel that the main issue next season will be our right back. Kane looked sharp, Dele back in his groove and Winks played well with Ndombele.

Yet another final to look forward to, this is getting boring now.

Winks and Ndombele are a good double pivot combination. Both pass quickly, sharply and forward and both are good at getting themselves out of tight spaces.

A bit odd how he is so far behind the others fitness wise. Didnt think he missed much pre season

Yeah I think it'll be MS and HW in the middle to start whilst slowly integrating Ndombele. Skipp looked excellent again so we definitely have have a few options (even without Dier and Vic).

Wouldn't be surprised to see Sissoko used at RB once in a while. Shown before he can operate there.
Agree with everything else, but i think we'd be mad to not to start TN as soon as possible. He adds so much to our midfield passing game that he should be first on the teamsheet when fit IMO.

Georgiou not impressing but Tanganga and Skipp are bossing it. Lamela can be fun to watch but too bad he can't stay healthy.

Agree when fit. Just needs to get up to the rest of the squad's level.

Did the fat bloke wearing no.50 for Real Madrid win a competition or something? Poor fella, the game completely passed him by.
