Really depends which Spurs team turns up, the one who played against Palace or the one who played against Chelski.
Hopefully Mauricio will have threatened them all with extra training if we don't win by a decent margin tonight

Going to be a tough old game this. If we play the same XI that started against Burnley last Wednesday, a few of our lot may be in for a shock.

If we put out anything close to a first XI we should win comfortably tonight.
Yes, they knocked out West Ham, on penalties, but has anyone looked at the team West Ham put out? Not even close to first XI.
Southampton fielded a fairly strong side at Bramhall Lane, but evidently Sheff Utd wanted it more, and capitalised on sloppy goalkeeping.
We need a clean sheet and a 2 goal lead at the end of tonight's game.

This is a cup semi final. If the players aren't up for this, regardless of who we're playing, they shouldn't be in the team. We'll probably never have a better chance of getting to Wembley.

It's all about being professional tonight, putting them to the sword early doors, get the tackles in hard and win their battles. Make them wish that they never set foot in the Lane and send them battered and bruised back up north. We'll then do the same next week.

I read that in their last game they wound up the Southampton bench, not much has been disclosed but Koeman came out and said that for most of the game the C Bomb was getting dropped quite frequently. No handshakes were offered after the game either.

Jose Baxter has surely done Poch's teamtalk for him with his misconceptions about players who play at our level.

Jose, the reason why premier league footballers don't kick is because they don't have to. They are good enough to play top level football without resorting to that. Doesn't mean they can't though. Anyone can...well, apart from maybe Eriksen!

I'm always up for any Spurs game, but I'm extra pumped for this. All I have been hearing is how this is a banana skin, Sheff Utd will be up for this and have no fear of us etc
Well to that I say we are Tottenham Hotspur, you know, a rather decent English football club who have a fairly impressive history. Why the eff would we be worried about facing anyone??? Bring it on, its a semi-final. If we can't get up for this then whats the point? I think we will smash them and I will enjoy it thoroughly if we do.

What has Baxter actually said? I keep seeing people talking about it but can't seem to find any links?

EDIT: Typically just found it, sorrry.

Baxter you mug.

The midfielder said: "Teams aren't used to getting barged about, people in the faces, kicking them and not helping them up when they get kicked. It works for us.
"You look at the Premier League and it's all nice football. They don't really touch each other and it's not like that in our league."

Never seen this guy play and have no idea who he is but I fucking hate him already.

Hope you get owned tonight you prick.

Nigel Clough's, Sheffield United's manager, recent interview on Sheffield United's official website explains his tactical plans in "totality".

"There are areas where we'd like to think we can give them plenty to think about. Take them out of their comfort zone and pose different problems.

"For example, we usually play with a lot of width which you don't often see in the Premier League these days. We normally go out there with two out and out wingers although we might do something different here, you never know."

114.815 attendance for the first match, 20,470 for the replay? That's the problem when you charge too much on stub hub.

Good deal. They might do what they might do normally or they might do what they might not normally do.
That's a wrap, people.
