17:37 SUBSTITUTION - Tottenham 3-0 Stoke
Chadli for Adebayor
17:31 SUBSTITUTION - Tottenham 3-0 Stoke
Lamela for Lennon
17:25 GOAL - Tottenham 3-0 Stoke - Aaron Lennon (69 mins)
Stoke's resistance is melting away quicker than a chocolate fireguard as Aaron Lennon finds himself in acres of space to the right of the penalty area and the England winger angles a superb shot into the top corner. Keeper? No chance. Stoke? No chance.
17:20 GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 Stoke - Mousa Dembele (65 mins)
Just when one or two - especially Roberto Soldado - were getting a bit nervous at Tottenham's inability to score a second, Mousa Dembele works some room on the edge of the box and fires a low daisy-cutter of a shot into the bottom corner. Game over, I suspect.
17:17 SUBSTITUTION - Tottenham 1-0 Stoke
Capoue for Paulinho
HALF-TIME - Tottenham 1-0 Stoke
16:36 GOAL - Tottenham 1-0 Stoke - Roberto Soldado pen (37 mins)
And the Spaniard does not miss from there - Roberto Soldado sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. Four of his five Premier League goals have been penalties.
16:35 PENALTY TO SPURS - Tottenham 0-0 Stoke
A volley from Emmanuel Adebayor blocked by the arms of Ryan Shawcross.

I'm all for positive football, but please Tim, for the love of god, play a DM to offer the back four a bit more protection.

Stoke have been playing some decent football recently since Pulis, and if we don't play DM I am worried they will pick us off on the counter as we try to break down their stubborn defense. I feel Sherwoods tactics have been too unbalanced although more attacking and his unwillingness to play Capoue has be surprising without Sandro available. Paulinho back will be interesting, how will he be used? Will Sherwood even use him? I am not confident if Sherwood roles out a 442 with the midfield we have...

Jermain D'Fish has gone for a big win today, couldn't count all the bubbles. He means business.

I don't even care about our lineup, or about Stoke's, I will just prepare myself for another uneasy game at WHL.

I see Sky aren't offering match choice tomorrow night....they have a highlights show listing the two live games....what's that all about. Only MOTD2 to rely on?

I guess in the next two, three games we will find out if Timbo was joking when he decided to go 442 for his first few matches or if it's his preferred formation. At this point I wouldn't be that surprised if Ade started in defence.

Why are we playing tomorrow, again?
Damn. I hope that continues. I could get down to the Lane a couple of time later in the season if so.

Better off watching in one of the pubs outside, better atmosphere.
