I think the conversion rate may well increase next year if we can bring in some more quality in up top, plus song and njie would have had a full season to adjust and will be better next season.
So we can improve in that area then? Or am i just not allowed to bring that up after a win?

34 shots, a miss shot goals and a full back strike. And we don't struggle to score against teams that sit back?
You didn't say that, you said that we struggle to break teams down, having that many shots and penetrating their defence doesn't suggest we have trouble breaking teams down we just need to be more clinical.

And the original comparison was with Leicester, you want to see a team struggle to break a defensive wall watch them.

Breaking teams down is scoring against them? If it's not I should have re worded.

Of course we can improve but we really gave it to them today on another day we get 5/6.
But we are on an incredible run and are second with a shot at the title plus the Europa league, whats not to like right now.

It's incredible what we are doing. If we are to win the league, it won't be defensive frailties, it won't be keeper, it won't be possession ect, it will be scoring enough in a game. If people disagree with that then fine

Enlighten me, scoring enough gets you 3 points yeah?

We are sitting in second with the second highest points tally and the best goal difference in the league, coupled with the second highest goals scored tally in the league.

If scoring enough in a game to win it is your criteria for success, just where is your problem, as that is precisely what this team is doing?

You seem to be one confused individual.

Edit: I normally don't bother when I get spam rated, but I'm intrigued here.

Please explain how this is spam millsey? It's on topic and is, in fact, questioning your reasoning (or what passes for reasoning) as the team is actually meeting the criteria you claim is necessary to win games.

That is if you can answer the question in a reasonable manner.

Or is petulant spamming the only recourse you have left?

Ye of little faith...

Honestly, at what point do the premature depression ejaculators take a look at themselves and think, "You know what, I know we're down 1-0 at HT but I'm gonna hold fire here, because I've been consistently looking like a know-nothing moron for close to a whole season now."
This.

I'm confused by the negative comments in this thread!

Win - check
Win after Europa - check
Winning from being behind - check
Showing winning spirit - check
Never giving up - check
Beat a keeper twice who was having another game of their lives - check
3 points ahead of Arsenal - check
2 points off the top - check

Happy me - check

Still can't get over that performance by Fabianski.

Add to that our players never gave up or just said "it's just not our day" is really a sign that something truly special is happening here.

This is the least "Spurs" side I can remember in probably forever and I do very much like it.

What a great day for me, at WHL with great friends who I have known for 40 odd years, great banter, great win,

Lost my voice from talking too much, took loads of pics. Put them up somewhere tomorrow when I have calmed down
And sobered up, cos tonight's gonna be a good night.

On the sauce, gently.

Been back from the game a while but now I am ready to post, I am beyond excited, I am basking in the warm glow of total confidence, I believed before today but the game today was for me, a milestone, we looked like champions and at the end I honestly think the players felt like champions.
In other years this would have been "one of those days" but we don't have those any more, we keep going and we do eventually score; We are RELENTLESS!!!
After Leicester's win yesterday all the pressure was on us, tonight it is all on them, at half time they would have been celebrating but at the end they'd have felt like they lost that game themselves and now they know that they can't afford any slip ups, they don't win, we'll be there.
Just a word on Christian Eriksen, I'd like to pass an opinion but I couldn't keep up with him, he was absolutely everywhere involved in everything, absolutely magnificent, what a performance.
