The game reminded me of that season under Redknapp when we were into the knockout stages of the CL and were struggling in the top four. Be interesting to see if we add anyone to strengthen the squad for the rest of the season.

The American couple next to me didn’t sit down until half way through the first half and missed 20 mins of the 2nd half. Another 3 guys turned up 30 mins late wearing ice hockey or nfl shirts.
I’m not saying these types of people shouldn’t be there as they have paid the money and have just as much right to be there as anyone else, just that it doesn’t create the best atmosphere for the spurs fans or our players
I'll say it, they shouldn't be there.
There was a couple in front of me on a date...
A fucking date.

Strange day yesterday. We filled the national stadium, and yet I personally didn’t hear a song until a half arsed ‘oh when the spurs’ occurred in the SECOND half.

I rarely give a toss about the atmosphere, you can’t force it and big games will always have more riding on it. Forcing it is as bad as playing drums through the PA, nothing worse than pretend atmosphere in my view... except no atmosphere.

And yet it was rammed. So there’s a huge demand for seats. Against chaff like West Brom.

Not a day to remember. Thank god we didn’t manage to lose

We tend not to do anything in January the official line is "it's not a good time to find value in the market place"

Bring back Josh from Villa start playing Rose maybe Marcas Edwards on the bench. We really need width in this team.Alli needs to be benched not done it for me this season. With the Xmas running fingers cross Kane don't get burned out or were going to struggle really bad. They need a kick up the backside starting on Tuesday.

We never do well against West Brom.
We never do well at Chelsea
We never do well at old trafford
We never do well at Arse
We never do well at Anfield

We've got quite the list.

Having said that, I've no doubts we'd have beaten them at the lane yesterday

We looked flat , slightly arrogant in my opinion like we are expecting to win these games.

Disappointed with eriksen and dele who didn't take any care of the ball. Winks is industrious but lacks any real conviction or cutting edge . Seems to be besides kane we really have no one who can dig us out of a hole.
Hugo is also starting to become a liability at times , I feel a lot more worried when shots are coming towards our goal this season or when he receives a pass.

We look tired and out of ideas , I'd certainly take Barkley if he wants in , He'd have a go and take a shot .

Negative post yes but I'm very disappointed, since Real Madrid we have lost our way a little . The United away result was a killer that Kane injury really made us fall flat

Referee admitting he doesn't want to admisiter the laws of the game during a match. Sackable offence surely?

#thfc Dier: "“He said he doesn’t want to be the referee that blows the whistle for someone holding the ball longer than six seconds, because no-one does. But if someone doesn’t do it then the goalkeeper’s going to end up holding the ball for 30 seconds, 45 seconds."

Disappointed with eriksen flat

What a contrast with his Denmark hat trick and how some people on here was lauding him recently. He is knocked of the ball so easily, admitted he does get crowded out and put under pressure early, but the best midfielders expect that. When he is off form he really stinks the place out, same as Ali.

Alli needs to be dropped so he can get his head out the clouds, unfortunate he is believing in all the hype surrounding him, ive not seen him have a decent 90 mins for us in ages, seems to go missing for long periods

He does need dropping but who do we replace with our bench on Saturday was woeful for a top four side.

Ain't that the truth. We are simply not equipped to handle things when either Kane, Eriksen or Alli go through the inevitable dip in form or pick up an injury. At least Poch tried to shake things up a bit when he brought on Llorente... but the crossing from wide was extremely poor, and when he did get a great chance late on he chose to pass rather than shoot. I expected so much more from a player with his experience, but he looks completely shot in terms of confidence.
