We won, thats all that matters.

No first team players were injured.

Janssen scores and gets a lovely assist.

Onomah is not an AM / wide player. He is a CM, this is the only frustration for me, that he offers very little from wide and would have preferred GKN to stay on.

Winks continues to perform very well and shows real heart and fight.

Dier has turned into a bit of a slow robot for me, seems to jog around and be very reactive instead of proactive, embarassing for their third goal that he gets completely mugged like that so out of position.

Wimmer has no form currently.

Alli is so composed in front of goal, i hope he can lend some of the composure to Son.

How they ended the match with 11 is a bloody joke, i don't care if it's the FA cup, blatant fouling all game.

But at the end of the day.... this is what its all about, what a tie and a lovely way to finish the match with the winning goal.
It wasn't like that a few months ago was it? Alli was missing loads of easy chances. The same as Alii, Son needs to keep doing the right things and it will click.

And for those of you suggesting a loss would have been our worst FA Cup defeat ever I give you Port Vale. This was in the days before resting players and squad rotation was the order of the day, when the FA Cup mattered.

The trip home from that one wasn't much fun either :D

I also remember getting turned over 1-4 at home to 4th div Burnley in the LC 5th rd. with a full team out In the early 80s.
That wasn't the greatest of journey's home either

Not sure of the logic of taking off Wimmer and moving Dier to LCB. Surely ccv was the man to take off as he looked Shakey and seemed super cautious with the ball.
CCV was anything but cautious with the ball. He was poor defensively but he was not cautious with the ball like he was against Villa.

It all came from his awful attempt at a free kick. He then also failed to take the man out even if he wasn't going to get the ball.

But if we add say three top quality players who create true competition in key areas of the pitch we can properly rotate even in league games, and not have to make so many wholesale changes in a cup game. Eaiser said than done though.
We've got quality players in the squad mate.

Son was one of the top scorers in Germany, Lamela works his nuts off and is statistically one of the most creative players in England, Sissoko was a top performer at the Euros, Janssen while struggling with us is still the Dutch No. 9, Winks is a future England midfielder, Trippier and Davies would start for 14 Premier League clubs. None of them are anywhere near our first XI.

It's just hard to rotate and maintain cohesiveness. It's nearly impossible.

Incidentally whilst I have every sympathy for Wycombe, it should be pointed out that their penalty almost certainly shouldn't have been one, and we had ten men for the last 20 minutes of the game. Under those circumstances we did pretty well.

Well with Poch suggesting that this game was all about players making a claim for a first team place it looks like he will be looking for eight new players in the Summer..

Hope Trippier is not seriously hurt - thought he was one of our better players before he went off.
If he was crying going downthe tunnel - like the comm on my game said - he's probably done a rib. Hopefully just bruising and not a break, though.

Well played Wycombe and we were lucky. I have chewed all my finger nails and started on my toe nails......gulped gallons of lager with the stress and the wife is just peeling me off the ceiling. Crazy game but credit to Wycombe for giving it a go.

Dear Poch in future please take this cup seriously to stop us dedicated Spurs fans from going through this again to a lower league side.

What was "lucky" about it?

Ask any pro player if he would prefer to play 3 times a week or play every 7 days with 5 days of intense training and I know the answer. You can rest three or four players, but not make nine changes. My point is that we as a club need to win a trophy and not just be satisfied with a top 4 place.
Yes that's true but if we want to challenge for Premier League and be competitive in Champions League then we have to manage squad or spend big money to build a deeper more talented squad. We are spending massively on a fantastic new stadium and have also strengthened squad. I think we have got our priorities and financial management correct

Obviously I'm glad we won, but my thoughts go out to Wycombe fans. Horrible horrible way to get dumped out after playing so well. Wish them every luck for their season

Looked like he just kept second guessing every pass and turning back inside then out before going for a simple ball.

It might not have seemed like it in the heat of the moment, but there wasn't really a reasonable basis for panic at any point before the 83rd minute.

Worrying thing for me is how completely shit dier has become, wanyama is 2 or 3 levels above him at the moment and before anyone says it's one game it's not, he's been shite most of the season now!!
