Am I the only one that read the first line of the article? We will let him leave on loan in January if he fails to make a first team impact. A couple of lines down it even clarifies that we will consider it, not that it will definitely happen.

What's unreasonable about that? I fancy he won't need to be loaned out as I think he'll do well for us this season but if he doesn't and others are playing well in his positions then we'd hardly be left short without him.

Some of you guys are never far away from a meltdown :D
It even says it in the headline! Headline and the first line in the article, FFS! I'm willing to bet that no one here actually bothered to look at the article.

that's not how it read this morning. it basically implied we're going to pack him off on loan next week, now they're backtracking because they know they're talking shit.

I went and watched the Barca game at WHL and he was by a long distance the most creative and interesting player on the pitch. I'm really pleased he has pushed on and genuinely believe Poch will give him his chances this season - we still have plenty of Cup games.

Why does it only take one shite headline from a rag like the Fail for some on here to go all doom and gloom? Are you waiting for headlines like this to justify the general Eyore vibe you have going?

Me?

Yes, they rewrote the headline and the first sentence. Probably because someone at the club (or Pritchard's agent) rang them up and yelled at them. There was no reference to January and no reference to "if he fails to make an impact" in the original version. It was clear that it meant "now" and "unconditionally".

I reckon the whole article is absolute moonshine and they added the "January" bit to prevent themselves from looking like idiots.

So the article now reads 'Spurs may consider loaning Pritchard out in January if he doesn't make much of an impression before then '

In other news the Daily Mail said that David Cameron may consider resigning in 2020 if the UK went to war with the USA and Russia invaded Kuwait.

.....and that David Ike had been seen walking on the moon.

Daily Mail, Daily Star.....why bother

We all hope the boy can do very well but bloody hell, the nonsense on here about someone that was at BRENTFORD last season playing in the championship, is quite amazing

Playing in the prem for Tottenham Hotspur when (because we are pretty ordinary) many supporters are pinning their hopes and dreams on him, is massive massive pressure

Good luck to him. He's going to need it

Not sure who's meant to be pinning their hopes on him. Just that we know he is a good player that deserves some game time this year. Can't we get excited about our young players coming through?

He certainly hasn't spoken to me about going anywhere - and i'm pretty sure he would need parental consent!

I wouldn't be so aghast when I first read if it said in January blablabla. But it was in "emergecy loan window which opens on wednesday".
DM have fallen even lower in my eyes after that.

I'd be disappointed if he hasn't been given the chance to make a first team impact by that time.

Eriksen is far from undroppable or he could play wide left (which I think tends to be his main position?).

Chadli could them play centre.

It's to be expected with our manager.

I'm not poch's biggest fan but that is bollocks. Poch has said that pritchard will be part of the first team squad this season. We even turned down a loan bid from norwich.
So no it's not expected with this manager.

If this were to happen it would be confirmation to me that poch doesn't have a fucking clue what he's doing.

To be fair you can't read an article when your knee is jerking your head into your laptop screen
