I may be stupid, I may be tired, I may be a Martian but........I have read that article three times and see no connection between the headline and what was actually written. Am I missing something?

It really does not matter who we end up with if Levy dosnt lower his expectations and start doing things right, weather it be FdB, Pochettino or Martinez Levy has to be realistic and give them time to build.

It will be the same old story as the new guy leaves because he hasnt got us CL in his first or second season. Rome wasnt built in a day.

Firstly Levy has to hire the man he believes can, given time and backing, play the football we love, compete with the top six until we are ready to compete with the top four on a regular basis. Levy has to give him time to get his players that fit his style and tactics, its no good a manager saying i want THAT LB and Levy saying weve got you this LB, the manager chose said player for reasons not just the fact he plays LB, He also has to understand that there will be undesirable results along the way and has to stop the knee jerk reactions. Believe in your guy and show faith! How many times could the gooners have sacked Whinger? they dont, they back him and he keeps getting them CL, they keep their ship steady in times of trouble or bad results while we take two steps back and make ourselves a laughing stock all over again., it would be sweet if Levy could sort himself out and get us right because we would be the ones who would get Whinger the sack because we'd over take them :)

I would love it if Levy just stuck to what he's good at and leave everything he sucks at to others that are more qualified and experienced. Its about time he got it right, enough of the fucking about.

Anyway i think its between FdB and Poch, why would Martinez leave them now? we spurned him two years ago, he's got a good squad and they will back him, plus he seems to much of a gent to just walk after one season. I have a feeling Poch will be a fav for Levy, FdB is maybe a bit more highly strung than Levy would like, i dont think Levy likes being told how it is.

Oh look, let's just mention Spurs and Arsenal in the headline just to get more clicks even though there's no quotes or substance to the article.

funny, because earlier the writer of this gem tweeted this

This is opinion and nothing more, but I'd find it odd if a manager's response to speculation was a decisive factor in whether to appoint him

Speaking as an intelligent, alert (and modest) Venusian, I would have to concur. (In my own language, of course)

"De Boer would also want full control over the football strategy of Spurs from the first team to the youngest age-group sides — a wish that might not sit easily with a chairman and board who adopt a hands-on approach."

Err, the board have a hands on approach on transfers, not on training or playing style - albeit they want attractive football, after all we are SPURS! I also think we all want a style that runs through the club so that a player can graduate from one level to the next and understand what is expected of him.

Fcuk me backwards I can write a better article than that prick, and I'm pissed ....... well maybe!

i heard mr arsenal or mr cross as he also known as stating on talk sport the other evening that it was a disgrace the way levy has adopted a scattergun ploy in trying to get their next manager
but the real facts are that nobody knows if ;how ;when or who danny boy is after or who he has or hasnt spoken to
because its a dead cert that levy would not confide in any red top journo
especcielly mr cross
no all these journalist comments on the moves levy is in fact just anti tottenham rhetoric designed to cause as much unrest as possible
please mr levy get it done then announce it and let us out of our misery
if only so that us spurs fans can relax knowing we are in safe hands and we can get on with enjoying the world cup
