I need to get back to Milan after the game but there doesn’t seem to be any over night trains running. My return flight is scheduled for 7.25am 14/2/18. The first train in the morning doesn’t leave me enough time to get to the airport & check in. Does anyone know if they have a bus/coach service running overnight?

Failed that is there any other THFC fan who also needs to get back to Milan and is happy to share a taxi?

Have a look at the link above. The last train seems to leave at 22.54 and arrived in Milan at 00.46. It apparently takes about 20 mins by car, from the stadium to the station, so a taxi might be in order!

We will be held behind after the game so no chance of making that last train. Thank you for looking. I ended up booking another flight, one way, as it worked out much cheaper than the other options.

A midnight taxi all the way to Milan will cost you hundreds of Euro mate, even shared. Surely your best bet is to just hire a car during the day, park it somewhere in town, and then drive yourself to Milan after the game? The airport will obviously have a dropoff for the hire car, you'll just have to pay an additional fee for not returning it to the same branch or whatever. You've got no chance of making that 22:54 train either way.

Or just find the closest park to sleep in.

Can you do that in Italy?

;)

I wouldn't advise it in Turin in early February. You'd likely freeze to death :p

Either way though, he'd struggle to make a 7am flight even if he gets the first train/bus in the morning I'd have thought.

Love the situations fans put themselves in.

OP sounds like an adventurer, I say you should hitchhike.

Hire a car, make sure they don’t charge extra for snow chains, you have to have them but won’t need them

This. Hire car is by far the most sensible option. No chance you make it with public transport and it seems daft to pay for a cab all that way.

Booked a one way flight out of Turin back to Heathrow via Paris. Worked out to be the cheapest option. The things we do to watch our team eh....

It's quite a long drive from Turin to Milan, about 100 miles.

Close on 200€ for a cab.

Cut your losses and fly from Turin?

In Italy, the sharing economy service Blablacar.com is very popular. People who are driving their own car between destinations list their trips, and travellers without their own car can sign up as a passenger for the desired trip. For some, it can be an alternative if all other transportation methods fails.

I'm driving from Milan to Turin in an 8 seater but only 3 of us in it (family holiday in Milan so need the extra seats but not for the game). So if anyone is really struggling I'm happy to help.
