I don't get why Trippier moving to Juventus is being mocked so broadly. He is a good player who has had a bad season. He will do well in Italy I'm certain.

I think that he would. Good luck to the guy if he does go.

Maybe they are signing him for their development squad, you know, the U30’s ?

Why can't we give them trippier plus 10m for cancelo?

Do you really believe they want Trippier that bad?

The only reason we have seen Cancelo mentioned in swap deals is regarding Pogba --> Juventus. Which is probably just journo guesswork anyways.

Was he really that good the season before this one? I don’t recall that... I remember watching him at Wembley pretty much every week and he wasn’t THAT good that season either. Lots of balls passed backwards from RB to the inside defender.

In a slower league with Ronaldo jumping for headers I guess they think those stats could match up and be fruitful for them... To be fair his best asset does not suit our style of play.

I don’t think he’s shown a great attitude on the pitch after his mistakes though either.

Trips will be huge in Italy if he goes. Much slower that the prem. He will have more time to cross too.

Good enough that practically no-one missed Walker and he even displaced him in the national side.
