This article is simply repeating what has been said by many on here since the transfer window opened. All that is in it has already been discussed in great depth on here. Much in it is illogical anyway. Suggesting Dier could be a replacement if Trippier is injured makes no sense as then a replacement for multi positional Dier would need to be found for the position he vacates! To be a 'journo' probably means having any brain removed before being given the job.
My view is that for the rest of this window is to simply ignore the tripe put out by journos and to try and find the patience to wait and see who these targets are that MP has hinted at. I trust him when he talks to the press and believe talks are in progress.

COYSYou're absolutely right. Problem is that we are at the 11th hour and the patience of the fans are now being tested. First of all, we have been trying to get in a new RB, but have not have not been able to finish the deals with two foreign targets.

Much as I like John Crace's sketches of Maybot, which are hilarious, I have to agree with others about this piece. There is almost a whole month to go for the transfer window. Neymar's move to PSG may mean that there are a number of players at various clubs who will become available if FFP is to be applied at all.
And just like that, the club would have enough to pay for a quarter of its new stadium.
