I was trying to remember the name of the lad from the 80's era that went missing and was finally found dead up north somewhere !!!.
We always use to see him and he was always on the ponce , either for fags , money , or something to eat , he was a likable character and it did not matter where Spurs were playing he was always there , we nicknamed him monkey , and i think the club paid tribute to him in the programme soon after he died . Anyone remember him ????

I just googled Bobby Scarth and it seems that he played three games in 2007 for a team called Celebrity United, and a different site said that he coaches football for the deaf (don't know when that was posted though).

Tony Jarvis AKA "Jinxy" from Harlow, used to go everywhere. Wasn't deaf and dumb, probably getting him mixed up with "Parrot" who also used to go then and was deaf and dumb.

I remember him! Used to bump into him at all sorts of random places at away games.

He used to hitch lifts to the away games. Think he had an epileptic fit and collapsed into a ditch on the way back from somewhere up North (Sheffield?). A true character and Spurs through and through.

So many characters from the 80's, really miss those days. Feel sorry for our younger followers that haven't had the experiences of standing, the atmosphere that was generated, original songs, being able to decide to go to Man U away down the pub on the Friday night before the game, cheap tickets, players you could relate to etc, etc. Anyone remember the Mohicans including Mark P from Romford.

Remember coming out of Anfield with Potter and his crew and getting ambushed by the scousers , he got us to form a semi circle against a wall so they could not get at us , i have often wondered what happened to him ???

Met him in a pub at Liverpool Street a few years back, he started going to Man City as he didn't like us having Argentinians during the Falklands.:eek:mg:

parrot used to wear a white butchers coat most of the time!

If its Parrot I'm thinking of, he used to wear the standard Levi denim jacket, and army greens rolled up over doc martens, with a knotted scarf at his neck.

Mind, a lot of us wore that in the 80s.

Did he have a bit of a wild haircut, and quite bad acne?....sure it must be him. Used to always meet up in the Park lane, behind the goal.

That sounds more like him. Had a green flying jacket too. Don't know about the wild haircut though, was always pretty normal.
