Just came to post this.
Interesting how vocal Kompany and Hart are prematch trying to gee themselves up and get in our heads and our lads are just quiet, confident.
Also interesting that Kane seems to take that role on for us as opposed to Lloris.

city has the best social media team, hope we can have the tunnel cam as well (I know our team has improved a lot!)
Loved this, and its why I love Dier as a player, he doesn't give a fuck.

Not 100% sure who he's referring to, but I think at half time Hart was trying to wind up Walker, looking over at him while loudly exclaiming talking about someone "it's difficult for him because he's trying to play, but every time he gets it he's worried". It's around 8m30s.
I love these little insights into the game, players trying to find any edge they can...it's quite nice to know that despite all the money and fame, at heart the Premier League isn't massively different from Sunday League

Nice work from their social media team. City are a good club overall and I've largely felt like they've not forgotten where they came from prior to being bankrolled by Sheikh Mansour - which is hugely important. Their issue is that their squad doesn't seem to have any real camaraderie and many would argue they have too many mercenaries looking for a pay day. As pointed out by some in other threads, not a single teammate joined their goal scorer to celebrate when they equalised and that says a massive amount to me about how tight they are as a group.
The overriding thing I will take from this season is that our players genuinely like each other and are mates on and off the pitch. They fight for each other and THAT will always be more valuable than any world class invdividual a club can sign.
Also, I think our social media presence has improved massively over the last couple of seasons. If you don't already then hit up the youtube channel, there are loads of good videos on there. Adding a tunnel cam though would be very cool so lets hope we adopt it at some stage.

Kompany's schtick felt pretty forced. Is it only me that saw Yaya rolling his eyes at him as they went out for the 2nd half ? Most of them looked like they couldn't give a fuck.
Think it was Lloris rallying troops as they went out for 2nd half.

Yaya is clearly a dick mate. I think since the day he signed for them, there hasn't been a single summer/window that hasn't had him or his agent speaking about moving. A few new bumper contracts since then, yet nothing has changed.
I feel for Pellegrini. He's been such a great professional, he's kept picking You're, even though the guy only performs when he feels like it, but it's Pellegrini who is the one out of a job in the summer.

I fucking hate Pellegrini. He may come across as OK from time to time but he's just another Wenger who rarely praises another team's performance and talks bullshit most of the time. Last year when Rose got sent off, the interviewer asked him after the match about is as it was dubious and he said of course it was a foul and sending off and completely brushed it aside, even though the red card was rescinded cos it was a blatant mistake by the ref. His post match interview last night was awful, blaming Clattenberg for the loss and talking about the 2 offside goals from the earlier game. Yeah it was a very harsh penalty but no mention at all of Toure's 2 blatant yellows missed or the fact that City only started trying when we went 1 up. Don't like him or his Halloween face.
But anyway, the look on Toure's face when Dier tells him to shut it is fucking hilarious. I Love Eric Dier. (And I'm almost certain he loves me).
