He might actually think that it might take time to build a team outta of his beloved Spurs....especillay when we lack strikers.

He might even think that changing managers every might not make us better.

I know it's completely crazy.....ain't it. Coz look how good we've been for the last 25 years with 378 different managers

Stability and sticking with a manager is only the correct thing to do when you believe you have the right man in charge. Sticking with a manger that has 11 wins out of 40 games in 2008 may just lead us to relegation.

Utterly deluded:rofl:

Perhaps, but the result and end performance was hardly his fault.

Yeah, with a header just before Udi's 2nd.

That chance in the 1st half showed exactly why Bent, sadly, isn't good enough, bless him. He should have controlled that with his chest (fuck sake, he had enough time) and hammered it in. Instead we got a lame attempted header when it was obvious he should of controlled it. Very unintelligent striker, IMO.

We were shite, we deserved nothing.

I'll be at that game, I hope you're right.

Fair enough, you disagree. I don't think you're "utterly deluded" though. I guess that's where our class differs.

We were fine tonight. Gomes lost his balance and we conceded via a penalty. Until then we were hammering them.

The referee kept stopping the game throughout the 90 minutes to give free kicks for nothing fouls.

Bent was unlucky not to score, though I think he should have done better with an effort in the first half.

Yet again, had any luck whatsoever been on our side rather than our opposition's, we probably would have won.

We'll beat Bolton on Sunday and that'll finally kick start our season.

Are you for real?!?!?!?!?

The other thing that is really winding me up is the stupid haircuts some of the players, bentley....bale, all they do after falling over is fix their hair..... it is embarrasing. they should be forced to shave their heads in shame .... all of them ...... apart from modric cause the end result would be just criminal

We have to be realistic, it gets worse game by game.

We have no structure, no real formation and players seem confused about their roles - you only have to look at their worried, sometimes desperate, faces.

Even O'Hara's wry, head-shaking smile as he was sent off tonight showed his utter frustration and expectation of it all going wrong.

Replacing Woody seemed like madness to me, he provides a backbone to the defence that we can't do without.

I think the team is now in a downward spiral or self-destruct, as though they expect the worst to happen in every game.

I just hope something changes soon, before it's too late to salvage this season. I wish I could say what needs to be done, but I don't believe there is a simple answer as there is so much wrong...

Is it already too late? We have some tough matches coming up and do we really believe we can win them?

My natural optimism is withering away fast.

I dont want us to sack Ramos, or the board, or even Commoli right now.

I just want everyone at Spurs to start being clever. So that when I watch us, I think:

'Wow, I'd never have thought to do that, but it worked. You're a fucking genius and I love you, I'm so glad you work for my club. You make me proud. I admire and respect you'.

Instead, I'm currently wondering how its got so hard to kick a stationary ball into a penalty area, and also how it so hard to teach someone to perform said skill.

Injured groin according to the commentators on Five.

Chaps try not too take too much notice of "flatters" idiotic posts, as he's probaby had a few too many.
Its blindingly obvious considering the amount of people ****ing off his threads that they reall arent that well informed at all.

This is quite unbelievable. I try to instill a bit of positivity into Spurs Chat, and people think I'm idiotic.

They'll do anything to make things look even worse than they are....don't mind them.

To put out a truth......even a team in form would have problems against Udinese these days. Take a look at the league......and you should know by now that people can play football in other countries.

Have to say I was surprised by Udinese tonight. A half decent performance and we'd have walked away with a point if not all 3.

I'm a Tottenham supporter. I'll always have complete confidence in my team to succeed.

Woodgate and Corluka then. There's still Zokora as well who can play there just fine.

I guess we need more pessimistic fans like you then.

More realistic than pessimistic. Why do you think we'll beat Bolton? We've won 3 games since the carling cup final and I can't see anything in our play that will change that. It's all well and good having possession but when we do bugger all in the final third it's hardly 'hammering' them or unlucky

These things happen - even the Great Dane had some howlers at Man Utd.

However, it's how you respond afterward; that's the key.

And how did Spurs respond? They fell apart completely.

Who's job is it to instill the confidence? You guessed it - Mr Ramos, and his fabulous coaching staff.

Worcester, can't you see the warning lights flashing? We're in real trouble. I'm usually optimistic, but you're deluding yourself if you're still optimistic after the start Spurs have had!!

That would make me sad, so please don't do it. I'm sad about how badly we're doing, but that will never stop me from positively thinking about my beloved Tottenham Hotspur.

And Liam, I think we'll win because we're awesomer.

Im guessing after Sunday when Gomes was clearly wincing and screaming in pain when ever he dived for the ball that Ramos obviously dosent trust Cesar or he would surely have played him then!
