We will face a team that finished third in their UEFA Cup group when the draw for the last 32 is made at noon on Friday having secured top spot ourselves with Thursday night's win against Dinamo Bucharest.

The teams finishing third are as follows - AS Livorno Calcio (Italy), Bayer Leverkusen (Germany), SC Braga (Portugal), RC Lens (France), Feyenoord (Holland), SV Zulte Waregem (Belgium), Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC (Israel) and Fenerbache SK (Turkey).

Teams cannot face a side they played in their group in the last 32 - in our case, Bayer Leverkusen - while all group winners have the advantage of playing the second leg at home. Ties will be played on February 13/14 and February 22.

UEFA will also make the draw for the last 16 at Nyon, Switzerland, tomorrow. The draw is at 13:00 CET, 12noon UK and is live on Eurosport UK.

Here are the teams in the last 32...

Group winners: Rangers, SPURS, AZ Alkmaar, Parma, Blackburn Rovers, RCD Espanyol, Panathinaikos, Newcastle United.

Runners-up: Maccabi Haifa, FC Dinamo 1948 Bucuresti, Sevilla, CA Osasuna, FC AS Nancy-Lorraine, AFC Ajax, Paris Saint-Germain, RC Celta de Vigo.

Third in UEFA Cup group: AS Livorno Calcio, Bayer Leverkusen, SC Braga, RC Lens, Feyenoord, SV Zulte Waregem, Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Fenerbache SK.

Third in Champions League group: Werder Bremen, Spartak Moscow, Girondins de Bordeaux, Shakhtar Donetsk, Steaua Bucuresti, SL Benfica, PFC CSKA Moskow, AEK Athens.

looking at the teams left in the UEFA cup, theres not really a team that we should avoid at all costs. From here on in its not going to be easy, but I just have a feeling were going to win this thing.

I so hope they show the next round on ITV4, no because I want to watch the mighty spurs progress in Europe. Not even so I can see the might Berb frighten the defence with his silky skills, or the might Thudd spraying passes like the legend that is Glen Hoddle, No the reason I want it to be on ITV4, is so we can watch the magic that is Mr Jol, woking his charm with Mrs Logan - his 'darling'

Except maybe Werder Bremen.....for now at least. Kick their arses in the final methinks
  4. Eyebrowman
Sevilla and Werder Bremen are the only teams I'd be really nervous about.
I think the fact that cup ties are over two legs means our class should show, and i think we have the most class left in the cup.
    COYS

I agree with eyebrowman re teams. It could be our year.
  6. silveraeon
I think we should fear no team in the draw. I fancy playing Benfica at some point (always wanted to go Lisbon).

If you believe in fate....its going to be Feyenoord - Jol's old team
  8. ollie_spurs
it had to be didn't it...Feyenoord!!
  9. paxton_soul
    HA! Didn't I say!!!!

    I totally rule!!!!!!:hump:

it is feyenoord. oh well draw away, win at home. Lucky newcastle for a change

Get in! I said we'd get them at some point. At last we can get some revenge after all these years. The big man will be rubbing his hands and gnashing his hats at playing them. It'll be tough, but should be some good games.

Jol's old club Feyenoord? He hasn't played nor coached there. In the Netherlands, Martin played at Den Haag and Twente and later coached Den Haag, Scheweningen, Roda and Waalwijk.
  13. Vegas
I think he was in the running for the manager's job, but the rumour goes that they didn't want him because he's not a pretty boy. That could all be bullshit, of course.

    Braga or Parma

Braga or Parma after we beat Feynoord.. not too bad..:shake:
  15. StuckinPoland
After Feyenoord it´ll be either Braga or Parma.

Looks like a trip to Parma then.....

Plus, the two teams I truly fear (Ajax and Bremen) have to play each other. LMFAO !!!!

Well Feyenoord are nothing to be scared of - they've only won once in the entire UEFA campaign.

Two draws in qualifying against Lokomotive Sofia
    Drew with Basle & Blackburn,
    Lost 3-0 to Nancy
    and beat Krakow 3-1

Not a healthy form guide and I bet the Feyenoord fans are crapping themselves.

Cant say im too chuffed with the draw. The 2 i didnt want us to draw were Fenerbache & Feyenoord!

Would much rather have had Waregem or Hapoel Tel Aviv!

Never mind spose we'v got 2 beat the best in it if we want to win it! COYS!

Who fancies an away trip venture? Is it for season ticket holders only?
