It's a shame because for such a great player, Zidane does come across as a massive ****! Not sure what he brings to the table as a manager.

He brings the ability to handle egos and a sensible approach to setting up his team.

Klopp was an idiot for not strengthening his team in the summer. They really need a good number 10. They had a lot of luck last season.

I don't think they need a number ten (or a number 8) as they don't play to control the game but rather to press and play up to the front three with speed. In fact I would say getting rid of coutinho was a massive blessing in disguise as it ended up giving Liverpool real edge and directness going forward.

I don't think they will match last season, and they are looking defensively vulnerable. But they are a very good team.
