Cannavaro on ITV? I'm sold.

No idea how he is as a pundit but the guy's a legend.

Chiles: So then, Andros, what was your view of the goal?

Andros: Well, Adrian, he's had a marvellous opportunity to smash it over the bar, but he's just under-powered it a bit for me and it's gone in the top corner...

How the fuck did ITV bag Fabio Cannavaro?! Chloroform?

And as if it couldn't get more random, he's mentioned in the same sentence as Andros Townsend! o_O

Would've love to have seen Townsend try to take on Cannavaro back in his day. He'd be having to resort to blasting it over from the halfway line instead.

I've never seen juninho as a pundit. Loved him as a player. BBC wins it for me

BBC ruin it with Ferdinand, Savage and to a lesser extent Shearer.

ITV have an interesting mix and then fuck it up with that clown Ian Wright.

Shame BBC didn't go for Adebayor again.

ITV kills BBC for despite having Chiles

Really? ITV are a joke compared to the BBC. I will never choose ITV over BBC for football, no matter who's on the panel.

ITV is just banal soundbites interrupted by adverts whenever it gets a little bit interesting. Plus the audience are patronised by the presenters and the commentators think they have to talk constantly over 90mins because we're too dim to know what's going on.

On top of that there's always the chance we'll miss a goal when it cut's to a random advert.

Rant over.

Not disagreeing with that but I rather have their guest than BBC's who are all bunch of smug basterds

Fair enough. I don't think there's that much in it but it's obviously personal preference. I think as long as Hansen isn't talking about Liverpool he's still a good pundit and I think Friedal is a good choice and even Henry. Shearer does my head in though.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

They don't. However, during the last world cup in England's first game some numpty pressed the wrong button and cut to a Hyundai advert in the middle of the first half...........and completely missed an England goal .
