OK I see I can't ask a Legit question about MP at all so I wont.
You can’t say it’s legit and then hold up the Micky mouse League Cup to support your argument.

The League Cup is the footballing equivalent of homeless people, everyone pretends they give a shit but most will blank the guy selling the big issue

I'd give Poch at least two, probably three seasons of anything other than mediocrity (like Top 4; or Europa League and very good cup run; or top 8 but win the FA cup or go to the semis of the Champions League).

Get into the Champions League again for next season, move into the new stadium, and I wonder if we see a little spending spree. Rose goes, everyone is fit, sign a good, pacey, tricky wideman who actually takes people on with pace and power and a bit of skill (would love Zaha but not sure that will happen), and push through our quality youngsters. Then the world is our oyster.

I see you and others keep banging the 'give him 2/3 seasons' drum but no-one can suggest who we bring in...
The only better managers that I can see in football right now are managers who seem to get massive spending power in the transfer windows.
I think its completely unrealistic to expect trophies with our current financial restraints, and while there are 5 teams in the league that can consistently outspend us on wages and transfers, its bordering delusional.

If as your avatar and name suggests you have been around since 1972. Surely?, SURELY? everything in your OP smacks of stupidity. We have been woeful for so long. We are finally moving in the right direction. With a progressive manager. Who has made us competitive against the ridiculous money of the big 5. And you think this isn't good enough? New stdium. new training ground. exciting players exciting football. the list is endless. We have challenged. We have failed. But we have actually challenged. for the first time in 30 years. So no. in answer to your question. we do NOT need to sack Pochettino. Just no.

To be fair mate whilst enic are in charge there will be always be financal restraints even with the onset of a new stadium, so unless we get bought out that is the foreseeable future but anyhow I will but out and leave you to it.

Well considering you're asking people to predict the future, what sort of answer are you expecting? There isn't a person alive who knows the answer to your question.

Now you've gone all West Ham lol

Ha but I am coming round to the thinking that while we have levy in charge, we will never take the opertunities we need to get what we want.

I do think cups are more than do able with levy in charge.

Its not a legit question though is it, its a question that nobody can answer because the truth is we dont know, we might win nothing, we might do the quadruple next year, who knows. Not you, not me, not Daniel Levy and not even Poch can actually answer your "legit question". Even if we did know and the answer was No, who could we get that would make the answer yes ?

Not sure I agree with the second bit, look up who wins these cups on a regular basis mate, bar a few blips like Wigan and Swansea its the money clubs, because unfortunately the more you spend the more you win...history tells us that much.
People buy into all the media bullshit about us needing to win a trophy, and they completely ignore the fact that its extremely unlikely to happen, and then they get upset when we dont win anything.

That's because they focus on the league but have the squad to be able to win the cups aswell. We can only afford to focus on one thing at a time. Just need to accept we won't win the league and chuck what we've got at the fa cup/champions league.

I'll then go spare when poch rests players against West Ham in the league :cautious:

For what it's worth I would welcome owners who could have that spending power as long as we still invest in the academy and not lose sight of the identity of the club.
The only way we could be serious competitors in the long term is to have owners like Roman the Russian or an oil sheikh and to think otherwise is pure romantic notion that died out as soon as the EPL was formed.
