ManU didn't beat us, KW did. Sorry if that sounds anti-KW but I was/am so pee'd off about that goal. But my point is that we were good enough for a draw.

If you're peed off about the goal then you should be blaming bentaleb. Walker had a decent game and did well to get back there had he not Rooney would have tucked it away anyway.

It was a bad goal, KW is too advanced and can't get back and Bentaleb shouldn't give the ball away. If either of those don't happen we don't concede. Players are human and mistakes will happen. Our players are young and hopefully will learn. Anyone remember last year's performance at OT? If we keep improving at that rate game on game we'll be champions!

Disagree. We were the better team until we went goal behind.
Then we piss balled about, played far too slow, waited until man u had everyone back behind the ball before pushing forward and created no threats to their goal until about the last 5min when it suddenly seem to dawn on us we were losing.
Man U did nothing all game granted but they didn't have too. They were in front.
Its like AVB football. As long as you have the ball, even if you spend the whole game tapping it about in your own half, are losing and have no threats on their goal, then thats great.
Its not.
Was truly awful game imo.

I know perspective is a rare commodity here, but we did play well in that we were better defensively than of late. The fact that we didn't go hell for leather may have something to do with: a) we'd just played a game and returned late from Germany; b) it was a warm day; c) it was the first game of the season. Walker is not my favourite player, and his reasoning for what he did was bizarre, but the turn of speed to get back was amazing. Furthermore, he wasn't too far forward; it was Bentaleb who screwed up and placed the team at a disadvantage. Bentaleb should have tried to stop Mata using the wing once he had the ball, thereby channelling it into a more congested central area.
Oh, and The Goons lost.

Other have said it, but it's worth repeating: we need an older, more experienced player out there, a 'been there and done it' player. He will pick the players up when their callow confidence dips and will drive through Jol's 'strong mentality'. Their age may not afford them the high-press stamina Poch requires, but that's where shades of grey have to come into things like 'philosophy' and where schematic approaches/dogmas need to bend.

We created very little and Kane was isolated for much of the game, and for me i am more worried about the three players behind Kane than the two in front of the back four.

Therein lies our problem. No pace or creativity.

Totally agree. The reason the ball tends to move sideways or backwards or even tends to get lost when someone tries to force the pace is because of a lack of pace, movement or creativity in the three behind Kane. People have realised that Kane is a threat but also know that apart from Eriksen we don't have players to consistently create chances. Cut off the supply and nullify Kane. United were poor - we should have forced the pace earlier than the last 5 minutes.
