After 1 breakout season ? Yeah right. Column filling dross.
I'd love to be paid to invent stories for a living.

Yep it's B/S and even if they did they would surely lend him straight back .

Harry Kane seems to have his feet on the ground .

He won't be in any hurry to make the same mistake as Routledge , Bostock , Andy Carroll ....

And now the likes of Talksport and Adrian Durham will be talking about this move being in England's best interests.

The media circus will be intense and it will definitely have originated with someone at MU or an agent who can make money. I am sure there will also be a few who would not put it beyond DL to have created the bidding war.

It is going to be one of those summers for sure. We only have ourselves to blame with a poor end of season run, not winning the League Cup and not taking the Europa Cup seriously.

Speaking of Europe. Are any fans embarrassed that a club like Dnipro are 90 minutes away from the Champions League? Or paused to think that a club like Juventus, from the so called poor Serie A has rebuilt its reputation with some shrewd signings?

Levy has just started his 3 and half month wankathon!! I suspect he'll chuck his custard around 1159 pm August 31st, when the £45,000,001 confirmation pops out of the fax machine!!!

Only when we pretty much have to. Even with Bale we were largely forced to do so because the player made it clear to the club he wanted to go. Modric did too. As did Berba although he was far more of a twat about it.

If Kane turned around in the summer and said yeah sorry, I wanna leave then i'd expect us to sell him and we'd be right to do so. My point was more that I don't believe for a second that he wants to go.....not yet. There's work to be done.
What work? Struggle to make the top 4 again next season playing with townsend and chadli? He can be in the nou camp next year playing with Rooney, probably bale, Depay ect. The days of players staying with a ckub they support are long gone. His wage wall also probably be more than double thsn with us. But he won't want any if that will he, because he supports Spurs....

Cue the negative ratings, but I don't ever see Harry Kane leaving us for a 'bigger team'.

Harry is at the kind of team his ability warrants.

He is not a top four striker and certainly wouldn't make any of their starting teams at the moment.

Just my opinion of course.

I'd bite their hands off at 45 million too btw.
That's true, he hasn't scored for 5 games. Must be crap.

If he has one more season like this he'll be worth a lot more, so I think it would definitely be better to wait.

too big an if. I think if the right money comes in we sell.

There are many examples of young English one-season wonders. Carrol for example.

There are a few that played for us. Bent/Bentley etc.

Total bullshit imo but IF he did go toMan U this sseason, for whatever price, then that would be me finished with football.
I really mean that.
What is the fkin point in following a team who aren't super rich?
Every single time you get a decent player that improves you so you start knocking on the door of top 4, some fker just pulls the rug from under you.
I know we do it to smaller clubs but 2 wrongs don't make a right (deep lol).
Carrick, Sheringham, Berbatov, Modric, Bale. And now they're sniffing around Kane.
If we haven't put him up for sale Man U should get dragged over the coals for repeatedly pulling this sort of shit.
If its not true now it will be soon.
This monopoly of the 'big clubs' is gonna kill the golden goose eventually. Who wants to watch a league where the same 2teams win every year? Where the CL teams are the same every year. Where you have no hope of getting in there because as soon as you get a few decent players they rip the heart out of your fkin team.
And some bellends want rid of the transfer window. Can you imagine it? They'd be pulling the rug from under you before you even started getting close.
Makes me sick.
Edit. I've calmed down now. I know more than 2teams have won the leagu etc. Still pisses me off though. Fkin hate transfer windows. Necessary evil.

I'm fairly confident we won't be selling Kane in the near future...it just would send out the wrong message.
I also see Harry Kane being a one club man leading the club forward.

I hear want your saying and sympathise, but i doubt you have anything to worry about he won't be going, you really get the impression Harry Kane is a different charactor and truely loves the club (Townsend Mason too) and would be happy being a one club man.

Heard this on radio this morning.....absolutely hilarious.

1. As if we'd sell Harry Kane.
2. As if we'd sell him to Man Utd.
3. He's a Spurs fan and will have no qualms about staying.

Not even remotely worried about this "story".
Much as I hate to say this; stranger things have happened. We're talking about Levy here.

Carrol isn't a one season wonder, he hasn't been given a chance. The reports from swansea have been mainly good I'd love for him to be giving a chance. Bent isn't a one season wonder, he scored goals at charlton, was top scorer for us in his first season and scored 32 goals in 52 appearances at Sunderland. Bentley was not a one season wonder he had good seasons at blackburn. Bentley's attitude was all wrong plus he was played on the left.

I have no idea if Kane would be a 1-season wonder. It depends on how you define one as well. I don't think he would face a Soldado-like melt-down but chances are he wont repeat the success this season. Anything above 20-goals and I would be happy.

Given the stats you gave of Bent I take back what i say; he wasn't a flop.

Bentley had a good season at Blackburn and was useless for us. He was a 1-season wonder. Wrong-attitude/playing a different position are bad excuses. He was a professional. Besides regardless of reason he wasn't good enough.

Bentley had 3 good seasons at blackburn, look it up.
I also don't think he will be as prolific next season but I think he will make it because he has the right attitude and ambition.

We are building a young team so by the time the new stadium is finished in, say 3 years, we'd have a team to compete for the title. By this logic, when Kane becomes a top four striker, we'd have the means to pay and keep him. This is what we should be hoping for.
