Richards has been in offing since Harry joined but up until now he has wanted to fight for his place. Now that Mancini has come in it could happen.

Potentially great player but rumours say that his head isn't quite in the right place and hasn't been since that season where he was first choice for England. It's been noticeable tbh, he hasn't been anywhere near as good since.

But if there's one manager in the world who could steer him in the right direction into him I'd say Harry was the one. But where would we play him? No better than Charlie, certainly no better than our CB's.

He's been excellent the last few weeks. Think he'd be a great buy.

Both lacks in height, and the positional sense/ intelligence to make up for it, so not for centre back. Has the ball playing ability of a turd on roller blades, so not a right back either. Basically, he is a big over rated nothing, we've signed enough of those over the years for no other reason than they were young and english, i'd rather we left this one alone. Besides, we have 4 centre backs who are better than him and at least 1, probably 2 right backs who are better.

Yus! Full back 4 the win!!

Do you know what, team? I would be the happiest guy in the world if we came out of this window with no changes. I really like the shape and balance of our squad - and even with a couple of injuries, I believe *touch wood* that we can still cope.

Let's not change for change's sake. Be good for goodness sake. Or something like that.

Failing that let's buy some more full backs. Yummy.

Stoof, you know it wouldn't be a transfer window if we didn't end it with a new right back. My money is on resigning Pamarot.

He was looking like the next big thing at the back a few years back, and he's Citeh to the core but, since all the hooah over the new owner, new high-profile players, he seemed to lose his edge and the hilariously badly handled situation with Hughes, that looks like it might have finally destroyed some small amount of romance he held for the game. Who knows.

And yeah, he did hit a plateau in the last couple of years after excelling as a youth but there's a player who did exactly that, who i was on the verge of writing off as another wonderkid who never grows up.

Aaron Lennon. Look at him now.

I say go get Richards, even if it is at the expense of the much-promised-never-seen Dervitte, the alleged West Ham target of Hutton and, dare i say it, Kings realistic chances of starting even the few games he can be available for.

As said, he can play RB but prefers that CB slot - what better lineup can you find in the prem of young, very talented defenders all battling for a starting spot? And if we're back into Europe next year then i say we could still use another body in the squad in both defence and midfield so i would love it if news broke that Harry had been seen flopping a sweaty palm over Micahs shoulder as they go "for a little chat"

Mine's gone missing to. SACK THE BOARD! Or, in this case, the site designers.....

I'm looking at you Rob

And then make me King? I'm a hat person, so you know I'd wear the f*** out of a crown!

I don't want to get you both excited ... but I've got two words for you.

Dean.
Austin.

That had crossed my mind, he is probably available now that Reading have sacked Brendan Rogers

What a legend. I doubt we'll ever be graced with such a magnificent FB pairing as him and Edinburgh again.

Those were the days eh?

Sorry mate. That's my bad, and I really should know better.

With regards to the ITK, I'm never sure that the first thing Mancini will do will be to get rid of a load of players - he's still new. That said, it is the stereotype that new managers immediately bring in who they want, regardless of the current playing staff.

I still think it would be an odd move. And as said above, I think our activity will be minimal.

Sorry. Consider my wrist firmly slapped.

The problem I see with signing any citeh player is wages. We've got a sensible wage structure, which has been key to Levy's successful financial management of the club. Citeh are likely paying their players 45 squillion a week - so would Richards really be prepared to take a massive pay cut to come here?

And rumour has it that Mancini has his sights set on Malcon, Cordoba and, er, Ibrahimovic.

"He's world class. Which manager in the world wouldn't like Ibrahimovic?" he added, cradling a very small plastic action figurine of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and doing its hair with a special comb.

The alarming thing from a mental health point of view is that City and their fans see these ambitions as entirely realistic.

I think with the rumours of Hutton leaving, makes me believe that we really are going for Richards as he can also play RB.
