Just to clarify, the poster has a good contact. Has passed on information in the past.

Haha, I remember him! Hmm, I have no idea if its the same guy, but he's passed on info to a few folk and POTL and others have backed it up on occasion.

MrBoomBarraKoomba is dwain on COYS and he is still somewhat deluded. Comes out with absolute crap sometimes but because it's COYS he gets praised for it, which is no bad thing, just not my style

Since I can't edit my post (mods please change the editing function on here) I would just like to add I'm pretty sure Dwain is MrBoomBarraKoomba, not 100% gospel

There's enough ITK to suggest he is definitely on the radar. I think this will be our first signing. Hopefully Daniel Levy can get him for a good price. No more than what we paid for Corluka.

I can't make up my mind if I like Micah or not.

I think he has all the attributes to be a great player but just needs that bit of time to harness his potencial and turn him into a great CB/RB. If Harry could do it with Kaboul I think Richards will be a walk in the park.

Good signing if it happens

As long as the price is right, then i agree that it would be a good signing.

Good singing IMO it is someone right up Harry's street, he has all the atributes just needs to be poished into the finished article.

I think Micah could be a top right back with his pace. Then I'd like to see Charlie groomed for the CB role to replace Woody.

I like the idea of signing Richards. I quite like it when we get linked with players that were massively over hyped in the past. It seems that if these players don't go on to become world stars within a few years, then they are considered useless, which is ridiculous. Richards might not be the amazing talent that everyone thought he was going to be, but he can still be a very good defender and now will cost way less than he would have as a 17 year old. It's the same with someone like Ryan Babel and almost certainly will prove to be the case with Lukaku. If we signed or were linked with Walcott are fans wouldn't be happy, but he's really not that shit. He's just not the player everyone thought he was going to be, but he certianly still has somehting to offer a top club and is only 21. At the age of 18 Glen Johnson was sold to Chelsea and played for England. 4 years later he was considered total shit, didn't play for Engalnd and was sold to Portsmouth. Yet he's since firmly established himself as Englands number 1 RB and was sold to Liverpool for £18 million. Yet when there were rumours here that Jol wanted to swap him for Chimbonda (when Chelsea were after him), our fans were very much against it.

If true then it would continue a policy of buying defenders that are versatile to a number of roles, this maybe in reaction to Ledley's dodgy joints and Woody's back.

Handy squad player, who can also provide cover in desperate times and it also adds more competition in the squad.

Id love it if we got him here, i think he'd be in the England squad within a year with a regular run in the team and and arm around him. He's got the quality, he just needs to show it on a more regular basis, like a certain M Dawson was a few years back.

Plus with Man City i reckon we could agree a high price for him and then just not bother paying them, its not as if they would notice a missing 10-15m.
