Luckily "active shooter" can be replaced with "angry dick with knife".

And yes, disgusting and concerning that this has happened at yet another educational institution.

The rankings look interesting. Apparently Michigan and Washington were close but Washington nicked the final spot.

Michigan beat 6,7,8 pretty easily(Wisconsin, Penn State, Colorado - not sure their ranking order). If one of Clemson or Washington lose their conference title games, it looks like Michigan could squeak in. They are clearly, IMO, one of the top 4 teams in the country. Who has Clemson beat? Louisville? Well there no where to be seen now...

I'd like to see both Clemson and Washington lose because i need a rematch on neutral turf with neutral refs of OSU/Michigan. We'll find out starting now.

We need an 8 team playoff badly. A B1G conference champion might not make it in...

Oh and came across this video. Its apparently gone viral on facebook. Just calling attention to how insanely bias the refs were @ravo @kr1978

Crikey - some of those calls/non-calls were disgraceful. You expect a few every game, but not that number.

So, Michigan vs FSU in the Orange Bowl. Should be a cracker.

Wanna know what sucks? I had an apt in a building within walking distance on the beach to one of the hotels the teams stay at(hotel is/was called the Westin Diplomat) and I went down every year around that time. I was always hoping Michigan would get in but they never did. We sold that apt recently. Now im pissed

Now we know saying 'We want Bama' is on par with saying 'Bloody Mary' three times to a mirror.

Congrats to Clemson. That was a great game to watch but my God Jalen Hurts can't throw a deep ball to save his life. I lost count the amount of times he overthrew his receivers. If he keeps throwing like that he could play for LSU.

Go Noles! Sorry @yankspurs
Missed this so I am about 3 weeks late. But we had no right to even be in that game at the end of it, to be honest. My god. We were horrendous all game. But it only confirmed my belief that if we had an even half way decent QB we'd have been in the playoffs at the very least, possibly in the title game. And Peppers was hurt for the game also.

Speaking of Michigan, Jim Harbaugh is an absolute jackhammer. The guy is non stop. Absolutely love him. This time, he's taking an inch and turning into thousands of miles. He is taking the team to Rome this Spring.

Week One under our belts and for me it looks like last year. Tom Herman's UT looked just like Charlie Strong's - we made every stupid mistake you can make.

On the bright side, Baylor lost two FCS Liberty at home and A&M blew a 34 point second half lead to UCLA.

That UCLA comeback epitomizes what is so great about college football. The drama is incredible from week 1 on because you're fucked if you lose even 1 game sometimes. Whereas in the NFL, that drama doesnt happen until the playoffs really.

As for Texas, well fuck me. Who would've thought that coaching wasnt their problem! Least surprising thing ever, that game. Texas just dont have enough talent and coaching isnt enough to overcome those deficiencies unless you're HC is an elite one and they also assemble a top tier staff around them.

Also, Michigan are the Houston Texans of college football. Talent all around except for the most important position on the field(and both HC's seemingly arent playing their talent at QB and instead opt for the experience). My NFL and CFB teams seem prime to waste fantastic opportunities:(

Texas has enough talent to compete with Maryland. Better talent than Maryland for that matter, but certainly not top tier talent. I mean its friggin' Maryland. I guess its going to take more than one game to unlearn three years of Strong's brand of chaos.

I really feel for the FSU QB. He looked great early in the game and it seemed like he was going to have a good season.

As a TN fan, I don't know how to look at Week 1. Yes, we won but, damn, its gonna be a long season. Giving up over 500 rushing yards in a game does not bode well when looking at our schedule. We had no business winning that game and got extremely lucky.
