I've never claimed to be an ITK and this information is from the USA from a few friends working in Wall Street and the money markets. Also, information from my cousin who is currently in the Spurs Academy and spoke with players on friday morning!

Robert Kraft (owner of the New England Patriots) is very interested in buying Spurs! He has spoke about the benefit of getting Spurs at a good price and working on building a US style stadium away from WHL, due to the transport issues. Kraft wants all issues dealt with before he buys the club.

Enic are keen on getting top dollar (sorry! Pound) and feel that, if they can get the application thru and pressure Haringey and Ken Livingstone over transport issues by the end of the year, all the applications will be through if not, a move is definetely on the cards!

Regarding Jol and Thursday night - Jol didn't pick the team in fact, it was Comolli and if you look carefully you'll see all the signs of it! Defoe has been Captain of the team before and that was due to Jol wanting him to sign the new contract, Defoe was gutted thursday night about Jol leaving. Zokora was made captain by Comolli and if you watch the match carefully,he didn't at anytime really communicate with any other players, it was a sign to Jol about who had power over him the whole time! Keane and other have fallen out with Zokora over thursday's match, and the teams divided!

There's been communications between certain groups of players at the club about how to make the club uneasy for Jol over the last few weeks and I won't say any names but don't be surprised if the defense looks tighter in the coming weeks and a right-back,centre-half,midfielder and forward....remember they are footballers and not primadonas!! Those players together with Comolli stirred it enough and Comolli then, lead Levy to fire Jol!

Some of those players were acting like they were having a party on friday afternoon after Jol left! Even Comolli turned up and so did PK!!

The players are meeting Ramos today at 11am but the Academy and staff will meet him tomorrow, if there's anything else I hear...I'll pass it on!!

Again, not an ITK just pass on what I hear!! Apologies if information already on the board!!

seems abit strange to sack a manager and get a new one in if they were thinking of selling, would have been mroe sense to leave it if it was all going to happen soon so the new board could decide who to bring in  well thats my thought

If thats the case i hope Clive Allen doesnt get the same treatment today. I would be very interested to see who Allen will pick, and whether any youngsters get a chance.

Having one of the most sought after managers in Europe increases the value of the club so it doesn't really surprise me that they'd do it this way round.

I don't really believe much of the other stuff but I hope it's true so that Zokora gets dropped.

I think you're wrong Juande_Yid-os, Spurs with Ramos in charge, and probably now moving up the table are going to be a lot more attractive than with Jol. Ramos is an a shortlist of 5 managers to win the European manager of the year award. He's a winner, and any investors will know that.

Sounds a bit odd... but then I thought it was pretty odd that Zokora was the captain too! If it is the case that Zokora is very much a DC signing then I guess there might be a bit of truth to it all.

Either way, the whole affair has been handled pretty badly and I kinda hope we get punished financially if the tapping up thing is true.

So the suggestion is that these players have been underperforming to get Jol the boot? RB would have to be Chimbonda (it would explain why he's been so shit I guess), centre half could be either Kaboul or Dawson, they've both been shit. But Daws has flourished under Jol and called FTC, whereas Kaboul was a Comolli signing, so you'd assume Kaboul. Assuming the others are Comolli signings who've been playing shit, that would leave Zokora and Berbatov...

I'm far from convinced, but we'll never know. If they suddenly start performing like Gods, it could just be the new manager. How annoying...

The only reason i'd even consider believing there was some sort of divide comes from when Malbranque scored against Derby. People focused on Steed running passed Jol, but I was more interested in the fact that all the French speaking players celebrated together. It suggested they have their own little gang and perhaps don't like it when one of them is dropped. But, it is more than likely they just celebrate together because they are friends in the same way a group of English speaking players would be friends at a foriegn club.

And the Kraft link is nothing new, he said himself he was in London to buy a football team.

As much as I like Levy, I'd be over the fucking moon if Kraft took over. What he did to the Pats is nothing short of a fucking miracle, I genuinely believe he could turn us into one of the biggest clubs in the world to rival Man U and Real. Seriously.

not going to argue that having him will increase the value of the club, but having all these changes will detur a take voer for maybe afew weeks or month, if a new board coems in and lets say Ramos doesnt produce the goods, then the new board would ahve alot of problems on there hands

given time to settle in and show potential new buyers that we have a steady ship and moving in the right direction again will also increase the value while giving the new board something solid to build on.... so cant see this being tue for thursday

Is this KernKraft guy rich? How rich?

I'm sure he is but it doesn't particualry matter as that isn't how American Sports franchises work. What I mean is that they won't finance the buying of the club and new players from their personal fortunes. Essentially the club will be placed into debt, as it will be bought largelly with borrowed money, but that isn't the big deal our fans will make it out to be. The worrying thing is that the new owners probably aren't going to be buying a club that is as well positioned for growth and further profits as they think and thus it could potentially have massive problems for us.
