Not lookin' too bad yaself recently Jan.

Thought both him and Kaboul were very good yesterday. Kaboul was getting to the byline and putting in crosses on some occasions and looked steady at the back.

Thought Verts dealt with everything well to and was very good bringing the ball out from the back, also love his forward passing into the attacking midfielders feet with pace. Not many defenders could make those kind of passes.

Lloris is at the absolute peak of his career right now. I'd go as far as to say the goalkeeping equivalent of Bale/Modric/Berba when they were here. Our only truly World Class player.

It's an absolute privilege to have him in our colours.

That's not Kabouls job, even if it helps. He needs to engage his brain more when in key defensive positions. Why attempt that stupid overhead kick in his own box that nearly led to an undeserved equaliser. Or give a ref like jones to chance to send him off when he lunged in one on one towards the end. Just stand him up instead. Seems to be showing leadership skills, but for me he's just not top 4 standard.

He made a few mistakes but overall he played well, and apart from Lloris and Verts on a good day none of our players are really top 4 standard.

Accepting mistakes is why we keep finishing 5th and calling ourselves unlucky.

“I can only say that the decision was taken in consultation with the club. Sportingly, the beginning of the season was volatile. A good start was followed by a decline and now it's running a little better,”

If you read that after JJ's tweet it could be interpreted as the club not being impressed enough with him and wanting to see if his performances improved before offering?

Just an odd way to explain why you haven't signed, saying it was in 'consultation' with the club.

Need to hear more from JJ.

There was another report but it was all in his natural language. The written translation said the same thing though.
I understand how it could be interpreted as you said too.(y)
