Would like this but the fact that Shillow Tracey is currently on trial with us plus we have Sterling, Loft and Harrison and Coulthirst still here, tells me he isn't coming to us. Think I read around all the hype that in the end he had decided to go Wolfsbury but hopefully we do get him, I thought he looked good

Osimhen was very good at the U17 World Cup. Reminded me of a Tino Asprilla.

Too young to remember his style of play, haven't forgot the cartwheels though. I would like him as he seemed quick for his size, obviously strong, but more importantly good on the ball,, with a different range of finishes

Always room for more talented youngsters at our club, and we must be an interesting prospect given our current championing of promoting youth players.
Maybe there's some link to Yahaya coming, teammates to help each other settle??

Although there still seems some uncertainty over Yahaya actually joining.

There was talk of a quiet window, apart from a senior striker coming in. Maybe this would be aswell as. Also rumours of a quiet summer.

Berahino or Dembele in
Fazio & Townsend out
Yahaya & Osihmen in

Again, no need for major ingoings, just loan returns for Ball and Oduwa, plus see how they along with Onomah, Winks, Walker-Peters and Carter-Vickers are progressing towards joining the first team on a regular basis.

Think we need to be careful how many players we put in certain positions though. Otherwise you're just wasting resources having players who aren't going to get game time. Then if you give them all game time then the ones you really rate are sacrificing development time for others.

However would be happy with a main striker then bringing in Osimhen, pretty sure Yahaya won't join though. Think if Veljkvoic doesn't sign we could have a loan return for ball but not Oduwa, no space for him yet and could learn more 2nd half of the season .

Always interesting with players like that. We have one of the best acadamies in Europe, so we should be able to attract players like this.

This has been rattling on in the press for way longer than these stories. We were told weeks ago by an Italian source somewhere that he had as good as signed then and we had beaten City to his signature. I hope it's true - he's tall, fast and seems pretty mature for his age.

Anyone able to confirm if this is his official instagram account https://www.instagram.com/victorosimhen/

I ask as he left a comment on one of our u16 players' instagram asking for a shoutout, and I'd find it pretty weird him knowing or even commenting on him if he hadn't met him. Which may indicate that he has at least been at our club and met some players?

ARSENAL ON VERGE OF SIGNING NIGERIAN PRODIGY

Arsenal are battling with Wolfsburg for the signature of Nigeria striker Victor Osimhem, according to The Sun on Sunday.

The 16-year-old striker scored 10 goals to help his country win the Under-17 World Cup last month but Osimhem's advisor, Gaffar Liameed, revealed it was now between the Gunners and the German club.

"We had many offers for Victor, but narrowed it to Wolfsburg and Arsenal," he said.

What's the big deal with Wolfsburg?
