Big guy... didn't realise how much of a unit he was...

Certainly looks good. We've missed someone who's effectve at dropping deep to receive the ball.

If he can shoehorn his way into a starting place, and with Benteleb consistently improving, we could have a very effective duo in midfield.

Optimistic.

Those three and Pritchard should be added for the season.
My All Academy / youngsters fantasy takes further shape.
Could one of the youngsters step up to help Harry up front?

He just took over that midfield area and stamped it as his own....a real star in the making here I think.
Very excited.

This kid will be huge for us over the next decade. Hungry for the ball, quick to pass and has a determination to win.

Fantastic signing.

Great video, first I've seen of him other than the MK Dons vs Man Utd highlights. Looks very self-assured for a 19 year old, much like Bentaleb did.

Onomah looked decent aswell. First time I have seen him. I really hope we hold onto Carrol he played in a more advanced role the winks and alli.

That's really impressive, the more so because it's apparently non-selective and includes his every touch of the ball.He has good technique, a great range of passing, is very mobile, knows how to find space and has plenty of strength for a 19 year old. He looks confident and comfortable.

It will be harder against more coordinated opposition, but he looks a genuinely exciting prospect in that collection of clips.

Yep, I was also going to reference Huddlestone, but I didn't want to deal with all the "fat" jokes ;). That and Yaya Toure.

It was Alli's passing that surprised me. I had an image of him as a very physical, bustling player, but in those clips, it's his imaginative and accurate distribution, long and short, that stand out for me.

Just finished watching the game and was really impressed with all the youngster (besides Yedlin who didn't show much).

We know from his MK Dons clips, that the kid's a real talent. If he can step it up to the PL then he'll be a great addition to the team and potentially a star.

He actually reminds me more of a Stevie G type, slim, leggy, languid, with an eye for a pass and a desire to drive it forward and score from all distances. A real box to box player.

Him and Bentaleb in the mid 2 is going to be fun :playful:

I was at the game itself, and his movement off the ball was as if he had played in this side for a couple of seasons. He like Tripper we always looking for the ball, and opening up space, and in Alli's case especially for Carroll and Yedlin.

If Poch plays him in the Audi Cup at some point and he is as impressive then he should be getting a start or two this coming season. Creative and quick to move the ball forward he's the only one on the night (and to a certain extent Carroll) who did. I bet Kane was loving it.
