Oh, dear Christ! We've only recently shattered our transfer record on a striker. What, are we going to do it again?

Bloody, lazy journalists, can't be bothered to check their sodding facts...

well if we get him Im not complaining, but we wont.

To be honest i would be complaining, when 46 million spend on strikers in one season - strikers we dont even need - would be lunacy.

Bearing in mind the figures here, i would much rather a central midfielder.

Anyway its rubbish - so we dont have to worry.

Sorry meant free in the sense the club don't want him. Interesting to hear that he has played twice for his country this season scoring 4 goals but cant get a start at his club

Although this club don't want him, It'd still take £8m to sign him. So in that sense, it's irrelevant how much they want him or not if he'd still cost just shy of £10m.

its also irrelevant in that he is an attacking midfielder when we should be looking at a defensive midfielder.

Italian journalists, last summer were saying he would cost half that, personly I find the wage would be the biggest problem, but I would love him to come to spurs
