it does? Really?!?

Well....why appoint AVB after what he did/didn't do at Chelsea with far greater resources? other than he was available and cheap (No compensation to other club), just floating a valid theory imo....which I believe I am entitled to do....right?

But do you not think that if you were Chairman of a mid-sized corporation where results were everything, that your priority for the top job would be to appoint the best man and make sure he was someone whom you could work with, rather than to pick someone off of the dole queue and lie to them about what the job entailed?

But as you say, you are free to float a theory. I am pretty sure that there are some on here who believe Levy to be a blood-drinking, shape-shifting reptilian humanoid from the Alpha Draconis star system… They also are entitled to their theories.

And having got the best man for the job, producing the best results the company had ever seen, that man asks you for two more top class salesman to make it the best company in the country. Next thing you know two ageing salesman on the verge of retirement Mr. Nelson and Mr.Saha are added to your sales team instead of high flying young bucks and the opportunity is lost, maybe forever. But that is just the Mans story, and the next Mans story, oh and the next Mans story, but hey the Chairman from the Alpha Draconis star system is telling the truth, whilst drinking the blood of the Company!

Exactly what Im worried about this weekend.
Let me see... at home... Against the mighty Burnley. ..
Hhmmm, think we better stick Stam and Bentaleb in front of back four just to be safe.
1up front, bound to nick a goal eventually. ... hopefully.
Can't play Soldado anyway as he scored last game, house rules.
And think I'll give Lamela another go even though we look miles better without him. Maybe put Lennon on left as he looks good out there. Don't want Chadli, fker keeps scorin.
Yeah, that ought to fk things up nicely. (y)

Apologies for sarcasm but I can't understand what we're picking the starting 11based on. Certainly not performance.
Think it comes out of Levys hat then Baldini changes it and hands it to Poch.
"Lamela??? Again??? Seriously??? SHIEETTT!" lol.

It was a disgrace against palace when 36k people could see Lennon, on the right was needed. We got 5 minutes of it and i swear he ended up on they left.

Might have helped if we had any money. But instead we used the transfer budget in the summer instead.
Unfortunately even high flying comapanies have a budget.

I always thought Saha and Nelsen were decent business; two old hands who were not going to let us down if called upon. We were on a run and did not need to strengthen out first XI, we just needed reliable cover. Trying to integrate a high flying young buck into a winning team mid-season had been what cost Newcastle the title.

What cost us third place that year, more than any other factor, was the training ground injury to King, which happened after the window closed.

It is of course possible that in that window Levy allowed his mistrust of Redknapp to cloud his judgement when it came to loosening the purse strings, but all the more reason to ensure that Harry's successor was someone he could work with.

We made a loss that year and had debts of about £70m, we were also trying to finance a new stadium (our credit was maxed). Where were we going to get the money from and what if it was an expensive failure like Soldado or Lamela in their first season and we still failed to get CL?

I'm confused now, was AVB sacked or did he leave by mutual consent then? If it was mutual then I'm surprised it's taken this long for him to 'speak out', I'd have probably not mentioned Leandro Damiao though......

Probably a year gagging order. He left December 16th.

Its AVB PT2: The Cluster Fk, lol.
Setting the team out worrying about what bloody Burnley may do rather than imposing ourselves and making them worry about us??
Bonkers.
