We created more chances than any other team in the Premier League last season, no idea how anybody can say we lack creativity with our best players.

I think we need a AM/WF that can beat a man and smash it into the top corner against the top teams, although we can always use more creativity.

I want another AM as well but I take issue with your post.

Firstly, I do not think there was a big lack of creativity. We scored the 2nd most goals last season. with Alli, Eriksen and Lamela in the Top 10 for assists. The latter two were in the top 6 for chances created as well but I'm not sure about Alli. Eriksen is certainly not our only creative player.

There were plenty of times we completely dominated teams but weren't clinical enough. That meant that if we weren't thrashing a team, we were having difficulties getting the win. I know I've used the fact that we were the 2nd top scorers as evidence for creativity- but I also think the same statistic disguised the fact that we just didn't take our chances enough last season.

I want another AM because outside of the 3 players I've mentioned I'm not sure we have much creativity. This window is all about adding quality depth to properly compete on 4 fronts next season, and that includes adding another AM.

That's fair enough. You're just voicing your opinion, as was I.

If you honestly think we don't REALLY STRUGGLE to break down the teams that love to park the bus against us, it's probably best if we agree to disagree on this occasion?

Someone that can twist his marker inside out and have the acceleration to then burst past and shoot. I wouldnt say they need to have the out and out pace of Bale, but have the skill and burst of acceleration.

Boufal would be good. Also like Quincy Promes at Spartak Moscow, it's just hard to argue a case for Russian League players. But he is also Dutch, rapid and has 31 goals in 57 games for them, very impressive for a winger.

In regards to Janssen though, very Kane-like, would be a great fit. Busts a bollock for every loose ball and has a great eye for goal too. Would not cost heaps as well and would have less pressure in my view in comparison to Bats, because he is less known and would have a smaller price tag.

I can't say I've seen much of Janssen but what I have seen I really like, and at 21 would be perfect to fulfil the back up remit and wouldn't cost as much as Batshuayi meaning we could maybe try and buy better quality AM like Drexler or Fekir who would make better quality chances.

Kane, Janssen, Son, Harrison would be absolutely delighted with a set of strikers like that.

Fekir is awesome. Would love him at Spurs, looks real quality. Accepting there's no ITK on this one, it takes me back to when I did wish we signed another talented AM that looked very unlikely - then out of nowhere we did. And Christian Eriksen graced our shirt.

I don't expect wholesale changes but the presence of Pochettino and Mitchell at the Ireland/Holland match suggests something.

oh, I wasn't being dismissive of him. He indeed has been influential. I was just commenting on the goal not his overall play so far. At this very early stage I do like what I see.

I am also watching three games as once so it is hard keep up with them all.
