Got the legginess Sane has about him - maybe needs a bit more refining but can see him being a similar player.

EDIT: significant amount of refining. Similar being this new kind of near 6 foot winger, attacking midfielder/winger, though has been mentioned he plays centre midfield.

Also from clip draws A LOT of fouls.

He looks a bit more of a CM to me. Like a bastard son of Dembele and Witsel.

Now that there is a highlight video people are turning the corner lol...

All for cheap young talent. Low risk, high reward.

What I liked in that video:

- Using his body...this is an advanced skill in my book and he does seem to have this skill
- Burst - He was able to pull away from folks
- Control - Had very decent control.

Looks a bit like a raw, clumsier version of Dembele.

Which would make sense because we will eventually have to find a player to do what Dembele does, as he is integral to what we do as a team.

I can't think of many players who can protect the ball so well defensively, while being brave enough to carry it past players without regularly wasting possession. He's unique and it'd make sense to train someone with similar strengths to become his heir.

The lad seems to be more of a CM than CAM and I don't see a reason to buy him unless he's exceptional. I'm sure Onomah and Winks will get better and prove to be good enough for our ever improving first team.

Ridiculous comment!
It's not ridiculous, it's my opinion. I have seen nothing of Onomah that suggests that he will make it. And you can tell from Poch's selections and use of him as squad player and sub that he probably agrees.

Maybe and maybe not. We'll just have to wait and see if it's prophetic. All I know is that Josh hasn't made as many appearances in the first team as perhaps he might have done given the stage of development. he's at.

Onomah will not make it at Spurs. He will be sold eventually to a relegation threatened team. Winks is the real deal though.
You might be proven correct in the future but it is too early to be categorical about him. I believe it's a 50/50 at this point, and he should have one more season with the senior Spurs team IMO.

If you know how highly rated he is. Actually, higher rated than Edwards, you would know. If you only knew how many (including citeh) and even Top German clubs who would love him now, it woud shock you ;)

It is ridiculous because you have no real idea of what is going on ;)
