I still remember the clips of him at Steaua where he looked such an accomplished footballer and striving forward with confidence and with great technique - shame he couldn't defend to save his life!

Napoli should be a good move for him and hope he regains that confidence again as I always enjoy watching comfortable ball playing defenders rather than your 6 foot plus shithouses kicking lumps out of the forward.

First off, we would have gotten a buyer eventually. Secondly, people also bitched at Levy when he, quite rightly, refused to loan Ade to the Spammers while having to pay at least half of his wages in January. Doesnt mean they were right to bitch at him. And they wouldn't have been right here.

One of those players leaving Spurs who I hope do well in their new club. Besides, I have a soft spot for Napoli.
Part of the £7m Spurs paid for him for sure must have been peformance based, so Spurs did not lose that much money. And, "knowing" Levy - and should Chiriches do really well - I wouldn't be surprised if there is a re-sell clause included in the sales contract.
