He was worth taking a risk on, he's still not far from being a very good CB but his lapses in concentration cost us too many times. If we made a loss on him then it will be made up by a profit on someone else down the line.

So we lost £3m-£4m on the purchase price, sold him for like £2m below his value, AND we owe Steaua a sell on. Eeesh. Seems to me like Levy got Levy'd
What price do you put on saving us all from a near heart attack every game..

I dont know about any one else, but I kind of enjoyed having heart palpatations when he played. Brought some life and unexpectedness into it:cautious:

Really though, with our back 4, it's almost guaranteed heart attack city for us anyway.

When you buy players in the £5m to £12m bracket there is an element of risk. This one did not work out and has to be moved on. To be honest I'm surprised we got a fee for him and not a loan deal, so good work.

Bit of a loss. 9.5 euro was about 8.1 GPB back in august 2013. Now we're getting 4.4

This will not go into Levy's "Squeezed Blood from a Stone" category in transfer dealings :)

My dad has a mate who is a real wheeler dealer (Del Boy but successful very successful) he deals in what's hot at the time if the market value drops he sells it market rate even though he makes a loss, and he will buy more of that product if the trade prices has dropped if there is still margin to sell at, some people would have a difficulty selling at a loss you could argue, but he sees it like he will make the profit on his next sale, Vlads been replaced by Wimmer who a good season or two would be worth 8-10 mill a great couple of season 30 mil plus.

Verts who will proberly go for big money next year, 15-20 mil
TA who again 11million hopefully will be a bargain his still young good season he will be worth 10-20 mil
Dier great bargain got to be worth 10-15 (stones 26-30 mil)
Wimmer again bargain

Ball every good season on loan his stock will rise under 20s home grown player
Milo's under 20 World Cup captain and champion team of the tourney with CCV
CCV one of our best talents 17yrs old monster, pace, skill and great reading of the game.

For the next few years we can sell a couple of CB for good money and bring though CCV and pos Ball without weekening the Team I really believe CCV could be world class in time. We are set for years and we have a lot more talent below CCV.

Right back again

Midfield the same, but we lack exp, in theory we have a stock pile of players so we can sell and bring though a replacement winks,

Onomah
Milo's
Miller

Levy is like a stock broker we have a massive commodity in players and our accademy under 18s this year are really special, so much is coming though if managed right. So clearing out Vlad and co cheap is def worth it, money ball is back :)

BBC - "Tottenham have agreed a deal for defender Vlad Chiriches to join Serie A side Napoli for an undisclosed fee."

My guess is the 'undisclosed fee' was a bag of footballs and a set of those little cone things they run around.
