Reports that West Ham have won the Olympic Stadium bid - but the Olympic Park Legacy Company just told us they haven't vote yet.

@thfc_omg The OPLC tell us there is no preference as yet - there won't be until they vote.

The sub-committee will advise the board on their decision, there'll be a formal show of hands and it will be ratified. It's a formality is all.

Message from both Spurs and West Ham says neither clubs know anything about rumour. They've heard nothing.

It was a different OPLC - Orifice Patrol: Lesbian Constables is the third installment of a popular DVD franchise they peddle, that's all it was. Just a bit of confusion with all these acronyms floating about.

I doubt the BBC is wrong. Probably trying to save face from the leak.

Exactly what I think specially after reading this:OrlaChennaoui @Mickey_Brennan OPLC haven't decided anything. It's a quasi-judicial process so they'll be in big doo-doo if decide before the board meets.

BBC article includes comment from OPLC spokesman. Definitely seems like the decision is already 'made' but just not voted on and theyre trying to save face and any potential legal issues that may occur from the leak.

The BBC refers to executives having made up their minds and now just needing the board to support them. The executives on the OPLC board seem to be altman and dutton, according to their website. The article suggests the rest of the board will be asked to support their view on the vote on Friday. Maybe the leak is to put further pressure on the voting members? I can't see the board members disagreeing with the executives anyway.

I was watching it live and I remember "unconfirmed reports that England are in pole position etc. etc. blah blah blah" then we got kicked in the nads soon after.

As soon as Geoff Thompson got called back into the committee England knew they had lost, he was ineligible to vote while England were still in the running, so once he rejoined the committee after the first round of voting they knew we had gone out in the first round.

The Beeb were saying at least 30 mins before the WC decision that the probability was the England bid was dead in the water. They *gasp* actually spoke to people who were voting and stuff. Like proper news-thingybobs.

The Sky lot were too busy knocking one out in the lavs over that day's page 3 stunna. By the time they'd finished their post-orgasm pack of twiglets it was all over.
