Lennon's instincts were to dribble first. A bit like Bale-lite, but not as much hit and run. He used to run at defenders and attack them with his pace. No idea why it's been knocked out of him or by who but he becomes less and less like that winger with each season. A shame really.

But yes, you're quite right. Walcott is a forward (as in a striker or high winger). Lennon is basically a wide midfielder these days.
Well I think its stop happening since his hamstring injury in the season we got CL qualification that kept him out for half the season and they say a hammy injury is on of the hardest to recover from because you heal 100% from it but in your head you become afraid of doing it again so you dont run as much as before

Of course. Completely forgot about that. Can't say I blame him. I think he's a good footballer and still uses his pace effectively but if his hamstrings really do go after a series of injuries like so many players before him, he'll start slipping down the football ladder pretty quickly.

Dribbling wise, Lennon hasn't been the same since Moniz left.

He's no way gonna come to us, it would be to much scandal for him and given we are not really ahead of Arsenal no point in making a sideways (slightly backwards move)

We won't give him a higher wage either so why come to us?

I just hope he walks out on the scum for little or better yet no money

Hopefully Man City will make one of them random moves for him when they signed Sinclair or Rodwell (to boost their English contingent? I have no idea)

Anyway I just think it will further cement a downward trend if another of their top players walks out near the end of his contract because he wants to win things

Walcott has been one of Arsenal's top three players this seasin in my book, and is improving every season. Also I think he will eventually develop into a great striker rather then winger, where he is somewhat limited.

Don't like him but that was a stunning performance against Newcastle.

We won't get him anyway. Think he'll go Utd.

My new year wish would be for Wal-Nut to leave Le Arse on a free just to let them have a taste of their own medicine if nothing else

He's a good player but not sure where we'd look to play him
I don't think he should start ahead of Defoe, but could be a natural replacement for JD come the time
He'll stay at L'Arse or move to Manc Manure or Cheatski.

Nope, still inconsistent and hides way too much, really not good enough to be a starter for a top team.

It would be like having another Jenas in the team.

I think he's toilet. Sometimes he's less toilet than normal, and sometimes he even leaves the realm of the toilet ala Newcastle, but mainly he's toilet.
I agree with waddle, he's a brainless athlete, in the football sense. I would much rather have lennon.
Judging players is very subjective, and I know people are gonna throw stats at me, which is fine, but for me a good footballer is someone who has mastery of a ball, a player who can manipulate a ball to his will the majority of the time. Walcott cannot do this, lennon can
