On Sky Sports 1 - recommended

Wales 1 - 0 France at half-time (scored by Evans, just before half-time).

Turned over on 22 mins to see how Kaboul doing (average)

Man to watch is the French No. 9 Remy who plays for Lyon - a future Henry? Eek

No doubt SpursKing knows all about him

Good game to watch, being played in a near empty Ninian Park in pouring rain

I'm looking forward to the second half

Remi does look proper nippy, but i've been impressed with Wales - remember, France U21's aren't a leaky team, so one up at half time is good news for the boys from the valleys. They look confident and quite happy to attack when they get the chance.

I have just watched the game, and Wales were deserved winners. I cannot believe why France did play with this line up when they have so many talented players from Ligue 1 and 2.

When France can't manage to put on a better team than that, then they deserve to loose. They did have some really talented players in their team, but the team as a whole should have been better due to all the talents they have to choose from in the Frence League.

Final score was 4 - 2 to Wales in an excellent game

The Welsh were good value for their win

Remy had two very wild shots in the second half (the curse of Geez!)

Kaboul got booked and was poor in the second half

I had high hopes for him when we bought him but am rapidly becoming disillusioned

Na kaboul will be a good player...he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders wit being the captain and playing regularly for us and he's young too.

France U-21s lose to a bunch of 18-year-olds no-one other than the most hardcore Welsh fans has ever heard of. What a hoot.

Williams (Crewe)
Blake (Cardiff)
Ribeiro (Bristol City)
Williams (Wrexham)
Jacobson (Bristol Rovers)
Ramsey (Cardiff)
Allen (Swansea)
MacDonald (Swansea)
Collison (West Ham)
Vokes (Bournemouth)
Evans (Man City)

versus

Jourdren (Montpelier)
Dabo (St. Etienne)
Kaboul (Spurs)
Bellaid (Strasbourg)
N'Zogbia (Newcastle)
Dia (Nancy-Lorraine)
Digard (PSG)
Coutadeur (Le Mans)
Remy (Lyon)
Marveaux (Rennes)
Gouffran (Caen)

So, barring Jourdren, the French starting line-up came from the EPL and Ligue 1, whilst the Welsh one came from the Championship, League One and League Two, excepting the City and Spammer kids. And that probably sums up the difference in quality between the English and French leagues.

Yeah we were linked with Ramsey over the summer he looks a very good prospect, the future is looking pretty bright for Wales at the moment, that wast even our best squad as a few players had been called up to cover injuries.
