What happened to levy? Someone clubbed him over the head or has he finally realised that not getting top dollar is in the greater good of the club??
He doesn't have much choice, there is too much shite to get rid of and not a lot of time to do it.

Agreed

It's just the cost of cleaning up the bad business we did in the Bale/AVB window (and even Poch's first window to be fair)

The losses made on these players are offset by the rise in value of our youngsters anyway

Soldado loses value - Kane rapidly rises in value

Capoue and Paulihno lose value - Mason and Bentelab rise

We're very fortunate some of these kids stepped up or that window would have destroyed all the progress we made since rebuilding after Ramos

Hi 'Locotro'; yes I was addressing you...it's this "incident" I am referring to. In your previous post you stated Capoue was involved in a "Coup de'tait" Did Capoue attempt lead some sort of dressing-room revolt or something?

To describe it as a Coup de'tait was very much tongue in cheek but I am referring to the incident described by a few ITK wherein a few of the senior players (Kaboul, Capoue and Lennon, I think) were criticised by some of the younger players (Kane and Mason) for not working hard enough and lack of focus. The senior players didnt take kindly and called them out for a lack of respect. Essentially turned into a dressing room spat. Poch let it play out and sided with the junior players which led to Ade, Kaboul and Capoue being dropped from selection and Lennon (questioning Poch's judgement) eventually being loaned out.

This is purely based on information from a few of the ITK's and whilst I don't know the details of it you can see clearly from a certain point some of the squad were just no longer in the reckoning despite initially being preferred options.

*This one in hindsight has proved to be more accurate if you note that neither Kaboul nor Capoue have played since the game in question.

Thank you. I just never realized things such as this had happened.
