By all reports it was hot as f*** there today (Im in Oz). So the time to make a sub was either after we scored or when they equalised by reverting to 4 at the back. In saying that the 2 goals from set pieces were diabolical. Verts Toby and Sanchez - where the f*** were they. We created zilch, they wanted it more and we didn't match them physically. We played 'pretty boy, soft cock' football

Is Moura good enough to justify playing Kane out of position?
Is Kane good enough right now to justify playing at all?

The few duels he did win he almost immediately gave the ball away through a bad pass to the first defender.

Was alone with the keeper once, he chose to pass to Moura when the defender was in perfect position instead of trying basically anything else.

Biggest sinner today was Dille Dalli though, when he's bad he's fucking terrible. I am still astounded by the fact that he's apparently one of the 10 most valuable footballers on the planet.

And you can shut the fuck up with the spursy shit too.
It's on us to change it. Hiding the fact that we always do this will do nothing to change it. Confronting it head on and changing it is what the club and it's fans needs to do. It's all mental.

To quote myself, it's September, give it a rest.
Irrelevant, it’s 3 points dropped

City lost twice last year. Both against sides in the top 4. We’ll have go 34 games only losing one to match that record or stand a chance of winning the league. We still have to play city, Liverpool, Chelsea and arsenal home and away. What sort of mentality is it that we lose to Watford and we think “ahhh it doesn’t matter, it’s September”

I know he's not physical, but he pulled out so often from challenges that I don't know how his girlfriend got pregnant.

Always been like it. I always hated cowards when I played. If I was Captain I'd be balling him out. Absolute tart.

All on the manager for me. Stupid to change a line up after winning such a big game on Monday.

Fair play to Watford, never really understand why people moan about other teams tactics - Watford are a big strong team so they play with strong tactics, aerial challenges and set pieces.

They wanted it more and got their result. We were slow, ponderous and indecisive throughout. Only really Trippier looked any good. I don’t blame Poch for having a lack of attacking options on the bench - look at what he had available with Lamela injured and Son away. However I don’t understand why we then wait till the 80th minute to make a change. It had been all one way for a while at that point - Llorente coming on with ten minutes to do something in a game where we hadn’t really created any chances of our own and our goal was even scored by the opposition. Yet of course Llorente still takes a mass of abuse.

When playing a midfield like Watford’s, Capoue and Doucoure I’m not entirely sure how we hope Dembele will compete on his own against that, because Alli and Eriksen are both weak in the tackle and lack guts when going for 50/50’s and balls in the air. The amount of times Eriksen skips out of a challenge or jumps away from it is what gifts the other team either opposition or the chance to put us on the back foot.

Equally I don’t see how Vorm can be blamed for either goal. No, he doesn’t move. Equally neither Cathcart nor Deeney had to move more than half a foot to get their head on it. Both headers we conceded were pretty much unchallenged and that’s with three CB’s on the field.

All in all, it’s just a poor, lazy, unimaginative performance from us. The sort of performance that when put in away from home to a team like Watford will lead to you leaving with nothing.

I don’t want to overreact because of our first loss but I have to say this
Some of you are living in a fantasy land were everything is perfect. How can we think that we can win anything when we sign 0 players?!

We clearly needed a CM and another attacking option.
Both our LB are not good enough imo and we have to many injury prone players (Wanyama, Dembele, Winks, Lamela, Rose)

Look at our bench today, we knew this would happen but signed no one and the players we were linked with was overwhelming

I still think we will finish in the top 4 but I want more, I want to win something

Too early in the season to read too much into it (we won't win the league; Spursy; player X isn't good enough etc etc). Just a very poor performance from everyone involved - Poch included. It's football, it happens.

On to the next one.

Thought Lucas was shite today
I would say that Moura wasn't as much shit, as Watford were good at marshalling him - Moura's Achilles heel is his inability to affect games where space is at a premium. I don't think any of our players were the least bit good today.

No idea why we changed so much after the Utd game.
3 at the back doesn't work with Davies at LWB. Dembele is physically incapable of playing CM on his own. Dele was poor but Kane and Eriksen were absolutely horrendous. Bad day for Poch after the high of Monday.
