I really hate such losses when we are so complacent + had such poor defending at set pieces.

Vorm rooted for fucking BOTH occasions made it worse

Poor formation and set up is what cost us today. Kane to deep, Dele and Eriksen too deep. Moura left up top as the focal point did not work. I never want to see 5-3-2 again tbh. I have no problem with 5 at the back in some games but we don't have the players to play that system in front of them.

Kane really needs to get back to basics, today he looked weak bumbling to the ground every time he got the ball. Really disappointed with him so far this season despite him scoring twice already. People will say it's a lack of rest etc, but it's poor choices and more importantly his positioning I have the issue with and that's not down to him being tired.

We were bullied out of the match. 3 at the back is worrisome. Needed some grit when we were up 1-0. No one to grind it out.

It's on us to change it. Hiding the fact that we always do this will do nothing to change it. Confronting it head on and changing it is what the club and it's fans needs to do. It's all mental.

We lost a game and didn't play well, so fucking what? EVERY team in the world does exactly the same at some point during every season, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP WITH THE SPURSY SHIT.

I didn’t really get a chance to properly watch this. Was it as bad as it suggests?

They played with either no desire or no quality. We didn’t have a single performance with both, and they couldn’t be bothered to defend set pieces.

I’ve seen worse performances, but we got bullied that second half. Coasted through the first half, and barely tested their keeper for the whole game really.

And that is why we don't win things!!

Terrible performance, after such a high of Monday night, my wife is Watford fan which makes it so much bloody worse... what a disappointment to go into the international break on, next up Liverpool - great.

Agree, players need to play every game like it matters. Most of the payers just couldn’t be arsed today.

It was one of those days. Home fans up for it, weak ref. We didn’t assert ourselves early on. The more the game went on the more encouragement they got.

Am I the only one getting really fucked off with Alli's show pony performances? He may produce the odd bit of magic, but 95% of the time he is a complete passenger. Until we get someone to challenge him for his place or Poch rakes him over the coals he is going stagnate big time!!

Yeah, Eriksen has played well below what he is capable of. I begin to think that it is something related this. Unfortunately.

Course there is, still no news on his contract and he'll have a year left next summer.

He's off. You can tell he's distracted by something.

Well that was very disappointing.

I thought that up until their goal we were actually comfortable defensively and that as soon as we shifted into a higher gear we would start to cruise, like we have done many times in the past. Unfortunately this Watford team are much more resilient than the ones we've met before and they took that goal and decided to be more braver, and it worked. We simply didn't respond.

Our forward play was erratic, too many players either dithering on the ball or others not moving off of it. Too many wasted opportunities down the left hand side, where Davies' use of the ball was horrendous.

Just like the Fulham game once the opposition was given the impotence to get forward we struggled to go with players and cover spaces. It has to be the formation because as soon as we changed it against Fulham we got control back. At the time I thought it was because of Dembele, but I'm now leaning towards the formation as Dembele was all over the place defensively.

I don't want to see that set up ever again. I want us to be a little smarter and ensure that we have control of the midfield, defensively and in possession. The sooner we get Wanyama and Winks up to speed the better because not switching it up hurt us badly today.

Frustrating (as it typically is now, when we play 352).

We've come to really struggle, creatively, with this shape and it's painful to watch tbh.

We seem to have to labour much harder to work effective chances.

As soon as we changed it - much too late imo - we immediately looked more lean and threatening in attack.

Have no idea why poch's not seeing it.

Is Moura good enough to justify playing Kane out of position?

Think he was one of the only bright sparks from the first half. We have to remember that it's not like Kane was featuring heavily in the matches when he was on his own, for quite a while he'd looked like feeding off scraps and being a bit isolated. Too early to tell if it's detrimental to Kane's play or not.

I would say that Moura wasn't as much shit, as Watford were good at marshalling him - Moura's Achilles heel is his inability to affect games where space is at a premium. I don't think any of our players were the least bit good today.

He was hardly the worst culprit but Moura’s touch today was severely lacking.

It was Spursy, just deal with it. We beat utd at old trafford and then lose to watford. What isn't Spursy about that?

So fucking what!!! Every team does shit like that for fucks sake, yet apparently we're famous for it?? Idiots, every single person who uses that word. Morons too.
