It's Levy's fault we finish top 5 every season after over 15 years of never finishing above 7th. It's Levy's fault that we've gone from a team of has beens and nobodies to a club whose players are courted by the best sides in the world every summer. It's Levy's fault that we've played in Europes elite competition for only the second time in our history, having not done so for half a century, seeing the formation of one of the worlds greatest players and teaching the then European Champions a lesson in football. It's Levy's fault that we have a squad full of internationals from top footballing nations, rather than just the Slovenian Trevor Brooking, the Serbian Beckenbaur and of course, Andy Booth.

Levy has his faults, but I don't want to imagine what we'd be like had ENIC not bought us and he'd not run the ship.

i agree with all of that but im at the stage where i wonder whether hes run out of ideas for getting us to the next level, i.e. consistent Top-4 finishers. Im quite happy with ENIC's financial commitment, for the record, its just the leadership and decision making on the football side where we seem to have run out of options. Case in point for me would be if LVG joins - Levy and Co should make it clear to Tim that heres his chance to learn from the master with him taking over in a few years time. I know Tim might see it otherwise, but thats what a good manager does he persuades people to see things his way for the benefit of the club. Anyone can hire and fire with enough cash, we need to build something sustainable for once!

fact/fækt/ [fakt]

2. something known to exist or to have happened: Space travel is now a fact.
3. a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true: Scientists gather facts about plant growth.
4. something said to be true or supposed to have happened: The facts given by the witness are highly questionable.
5. Law. . Often, facts. an actual or alleged event or circumstance, as distinguished from its legal effect or consequence. Compare question of fact, question of law.

Did you copy and paste this from an online dictionary? I think we are all, intellectually, out of your depth.

It was a subtle way of saying that people who put the word fact at the end of a sentence, spoken or written, are generally twats.

Banging the anti Levy drum again are we? give it a rest.

I know but he was saying that Levy is responsible for selling our players which is a fact as he's the Chairman. It's part of his job.

It's his decision.

Gomes wants to leave but Levy won't sell him. Levy kept Dos Santos at the club for years until he got the right fee. It's a business decision.

levy haters must want the likes of abramovich, mansour or perez as their chairman!

yes, levy's a SOB who's tighter than a duck's arse, loves deadline day and never say no to making a profit on players but hey! its all in the interests of the club that we all love that is THFC!

the ****bell debacle opened his eyes to the bosman ruling, thats why he'll sell a player before his contract runs out, nothing wrong with that.

manure couldnt stop cristiano from leaving, arse couldnt stop henry, viera, nasri, adebayor, clichy from leaving
bindippers couldnt stop torres, mascharano, alonso from leaving.
so why do we think we can stop modric, berbatov or bale leaving?

THFC's first and foremost a business and levy is the man tasked to make this a profitable business, he's just doing his job ffs!

he did reinvest the bale money into the team right? if this was mike ashley, 80% of the proceeds would've gone into sports direct!

not levy's fault that politics btw sherwood and baldini denied the 100m investments playing time, not levy's fault that those clowns on the pitch are not showing passion, motivation or hunger and definitely not levy's fault that the world cup is hampering our managerial search!

the bald one showed balls by firing avb whose lost the team by dec and installing inter-tim. nothing to lose there, 4th olace and tim gets the gig, anything less....bye! fair enough if u ask me.

the summer's the last straw for me, if inter-tim fails to achieve his kpi and dear daniel sticks with him, its time for him to go.

before that, let's give him the benefit of the doubt.....

Coming from AVB's biggest fan I'll take that as encouragement

AVB's biggest fan? i'm not sure you've got the right person. I just can't stand whiny little bitches like you who pop up every time we go through a rough patch and start calling for someone's head. You wanted AVB out, you got your wish and look how much better off we are. Now you want Levy out whilst blindly ignoring the obvious progression during his tenure. Be careful what you wish for, you seem to want some kind of quick fix solution all the time, may I suggest supporting City or Chelsea.

You tick every single box!

1. Suggesting supporting another team
2. Name calling
3. Changing your position after being proved wrong

You were defending AVB and you've been shown to be totally wrong. You don't even have the class to admit it.

How much better we are? Well I think we've scored a few more goals haven't we? Adebayor?

Quick fix solution? No, that's what you get when you change your manager every season. Changing the Chairman is a long term solution.

I don't think we've been doing bad this century.

Just waiting for that final bit of luck one of these days to push on into the nearly impossible to each level of the top 4.

Anyway, enough of squabbling with the usual culprits.

Back to the topic.

Yes or we could get Barry Fry. Or Peter Risdale. Or we could be hit by an Asteroid. Or a Tidal wave!

We're all doomed!
