Yes, it is a bit shit, but do you have any other better suggestions? If people say every song that someone comes up with is crap then what do we end up with? This is the attitude that leaves us with

There are very few football songs which aren’t. “We’ve got Alli” is a rip of another team’s song. “We are Tottenham” is our version of a very generic Rod Stewart anthem, “The thing I love most...” is another generic chant (Tom Hark) as is “Oh Ledley” (Que Sera Sera). Even “Oh when the Spurs” is not ours alone. I think it’s perfectly valid to appropriate a current trend and customise to fit our own story. I’m with the OP here, something about the “...and it got disallowed,” that fills me with joy!

Not really getting defensive about the song itself. Just don’t get how people can not like a video where Spurs fans go mental and dance around having just reached the final of the Champions League. Let me repeat that: we’d just reached the final of the Chanpions League. So, I find all the “Errr. So lame. Like.... such a rip off” comments a bit twatty.
Yeah it’s a rip off. Which song isn’t? The fact it’s assiciated with Liverpool (who we’re playing in the final btw) adds to it, I think. And I’ll repeat it one more time: we’d just reached the final of the Champions League.
