Can’t see any other thread on this so I thought I’d highlight that on Sunday 30th August England’s Hockey team won the European Championships in Holland.
3-2 down deep into the second half we scored three in an eight minute purple patch to beat Germany 5-3.
I didn’t know about it until this morning when it was on Eurosport and as I haven’t seen any reports anywhere I’d thought I’d post a link for anyone who is interested.

I know Hockey is a bit of a minority sport but then again so is Cricket and look how much coverage that’s had in the last few months, not to mention how many hours sky devotes to Basketball as well as NFL and Baseball and we don’t even play them.
